Remarks :

Dr BC Roy Polytechnic College is one of the best polytechnic colleges in Durgapur. This college is very disciplined and the faculty members are very food. The admission procedure is very easy. It took me one day to get admission. This college is very strict and the placement cell is quite good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose the course because in this course the faculty members are very good and helpful. The student-faculty ratio is good. The HOD of this department is MTECH and having 15 years of teaching experience. The teaching method is very good. The semester exams were held in 6 months span of time. The exam was neither too easy nor too difficult.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 120350 per year

Placement Experience :

The students are eligible for placements from the 4th semester. The company visited are_ L&T, Tata Power, Voltas Ltd, BMW, Secure meters, Exide Batteries, CEAT tyres, Sigma Pvt ltd, Polybond Pvt ltd, Supreme Industries, Asahi glass India, Vitoria tools Engineers, etc. The highest package is 2.4 LPA offered by voltas, tata power and L&t. Almost 80% of students got placed. After my degree, I have opted for higher studies that are BTECH in EE.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is no fees hike in the last 5 years. The cost to study is 120350 for 3years if you take admission through counselling and 1,56,350 for 3years if taken admission through management quota. I didn't opt for financial assistance, scholarship and job. I opted for my higher studies.

Campus Life :

The tech fest Tantraja and the annual fest Vedyantra is held in March and February respectively. All types of books are available in the central library. The classroom consists of a traditional blackboard for teaching purpose. The sports day is usually held in the month of January to February for 2 days.

Placement Experience:

After completing of 4th semester you can eligible for campus placement. L&t, Mahindra, Wipro, John dere, Mando, and many other companies visited. The highest package is 35000 which is offered by the l&t. 85% of students got placed. I will complete my BTech.

Best Diploma college in west bengal

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, students are eligible to attend campus placement interviews. There are so many reputed companies that visit our college for placement like Jindal steel and power, JSW, JSL, TATA STEEL, L&T, Super smelters ltd and many more small companies. AS far as my knowledge concerns the highest package is around 800000 LPA and the lowest is around 250000 LPA. Most of the students get the placement some are in big companies and some are in local companies. As I have selected Jindal steel and power as JE.

From the 5th semester, the students are able to apply for the campus placements I don't recognize any company at the moment but there is a huge amount of offers made in the college campus placement The highest average package was 1L as I remember but it's ok after all it's a diploma from College. 40 percent of the students get placement every year My plans after getting the degree are to go for higher studies Like B.Tech.
