Remarks :

It is related to a hospital which will give the students a practical aspect knowledge along with theoretical and it is located in a good location. Teachers, there are helpful and hard working. You can definitely go for this option while the other college under GGSIPU offering the same course is not that good. The only negative point is that there's no placement council in college so you will have to look for a job y yourself but teachers will help you if they find any post.

Course Curriculum Overview :

There are lots of teachers in each department and you can ask for help and they will help u happily. All of the teachers are Senior or junior residents of the hospital. So well educated ofcourse they are. Exams are timely planned and the final term examination level is kept in mind

Internships Opportunities :

Our college offered us a campus internship for 6 months u can check it is mentioned in the brochure itself that they offer internships which is a good thing as Hindu Rao hospital is attached to its college of bscmlt so we get practical exposure too.

Placement Experience :

Talking about campus placement so it is Zero while if u talk about package so you will get a 2.5-3 lacs package easily while if you go for govt job you can also get upto 5 lacs per annum package. My plan after doing my bachelors is surely to go for masters as it will help me out in future too and I'm not looking for a job rn but yes my friends are and I shared their experience

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Talking about fee structure is fine while students do get scholarships EWS and more if they face any financial crises. Teachers help u out in applying it. While as I told u there are no campus placements as no placement council

Campus Life :

There are MBBS students who organize the fest and if we want we can go there and enjoy it. There are two well-maintained libraries and you will definitely find all relatable books there for your course. There are many extracurricular games accessories present in college. There is a page on Facebook B.Sc.MLT ggspiu named you can surely go n see it is run by students.

My course (Bsc medical imaging technology) is a very good course and provide great opportunities around the world. The curriculum nicely prepares us for the real world by providing us hospital visits and interaction with patients to deal with in the future. Internal exams occurs every month and has good duration between exams and gives us time to prepare

Paramedical field. Boon or bane?

Placement Experience:

Placements are provided after 4th year of our course. Medical assistant is provided in our college or in Maulana Azad College. We get about 50000 as our package. Almost every students are eligible for placement depending on their academic performance. Students after pursuing Bachelors of occupational therapy seeking jobs in hospital or they start their personal private clinic for handicaps.

Learnings over edge

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm basically from a medical background and the labs and all practical works fascinated me from the very beginning. I am always been fond to work in the healthcare field and helping out everyone from pain, sickness, trauma, and emergencies. As lab technologists, we are the backbone of all the diagnosis, prognosis, and line of treatment of any microbial, pathological and biochemical findings. The ratio of our batch in terms of faculty and students is pretty good like 1:1 or even more towards the faculty side. There are a huge no. of senior resident doctors who are assigned to us for a single expertise subject. Each and every faculty are MD or MS and some are super-specialists as well in the medical field. The teaching method is pretty much good with good infrastructure, LTs, Laboratories, museums, smart classrooms for Demos. For exams, there are two internal exams at the College level and an annual final exam at GGSIPU. 25% of internal and 75% of the external exam is considered as evaluation criteria for marks.

I love my course but i hate my college but also i love my college

Remarks:

Positive remark is we are getting to go to the postings so what we learnt in theory we can apply practically on patients with the guidance of the department head. There is a lot of things to learn. There is no ending it's vast. Negative thing according to me, nothing happens here in a systematic manner like surprisingly datesheet is coming out 2 days before the internal examination , no one ever knows when will the results come out of the academic session.
