Entrance Preview :

I gave JEE MAINShad a decent score of 150. I had options but i chose this college because it was a government college. It was also near to my hometown. I had to take computer science and engineering because i had interest in it so i took it despite of more options available. Admission procedure was fine. You had to report to college to confirm your admission

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course has many subjects and the curriculum is like other Computer science is a fast-moving field that brings together disciplines, including mathematics, programming, engineering, the natural sciences, psychology and linguistics. Our course provides you with skills highly prized in industry and for research.

Faculty :

Artment of Electrical Engineering is one of the oldest departments estabilished in 1957 at MITS campus The department is dedicated to the teaching and research activities in the areas of Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control Engineering. The department educates the students to take up challenging jobs in a wide range of industries and engage themselves in research and development activities for the good of society. The syllabi of the courses are continuously updated and the laboratories modernized to reflect the rapid changes in technology. It also offers high quality research in the (ME and Ph.D.) Programs. Courses offered by the department cater to learning needs from basics to the advanced level. Department offers variety of discipline electives and covers most of the modern technologies.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
