Remarks :

Christ University is run by a group of fathers. The management does a pretty good job of keeping the campus, faculty, and needs of the students fulfilled and in check. The management isn't hard to approach either, so I guess it's all pretty good. Overall, the university is very well managed and administered in all fields.

Entrance Preview :

I joined Christ university, faculty of engineering in June 2016. I got into the college through the college's private entrance examinations, in which we were to give a small entrance examination and a Personal Interview Held afterward. I opted for this college because it has an excellent reputation for where I come from.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The courses provided are updated as per international standards and the university also has many linkups with some internationally reputed universities. Students are also given the option to change their course in their second year. The university has also conducted various research within labs provided by universities which is internationally acclaimed.

Internships Opportunities :

Being a 1st-year student, I am not very well informed about such information. But a number of really good companies like Google, Info-sis, Mahindra Tech, etc. do consider Campus Recruitment at the University. As for the internship in the college, Yes, internships are provided for students/alumni interested in doing research work.

Placement Experience :

Again, being a 1st-year student, I am not very well acquainted with many details of such information. But a number of really good companies like Google, Info-sis, Mahindra Tech, etc. do come for Campus Recruitment at the University. I'm afraid I do not know enough about the college's history and past recruitment to say anything effective in this particular talk. Although I know that a good number of people were accepted and taken in by the companies, I am sorry to say I am unsure of the details of the recruitment.

College Events :

There are a lot of fests taking place at the university every month. Each fest is different from the other, all the students take part actively in various events. For example, there is Darpan, Blossoms, Novatos, etc. There will be various competitions like inter-class dance, music, drama, and even branch-wise competitions. All teachers support us in making these fests a huge success, even though many students from other universities and colleges come to take part in these fests. During the fests, the entire university is lit up and the vibe is amazing.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Sadly no, as of now I am not aware of any such facility but since Christ University is a well-known institution of education it is bound to inculcate that soon or later it does have groups like CSA in which students themselves volunteer to educate and help the underprivileged.

Campus Life :

Life on the campus is pretty good. There is absolutely no ragging, seniors and all people on campus are very lively and kind. The gender ratio is kind of unbalanced. The no. of boys easily dominates the no. of girls by at least double the number of girl's population. But even considering the vast gap in population and gender ratio, the students get along very well, irrespective of their gender. Life on campus is meeting new people and making friends and having fun and learning together. Living on campus, there's always something to do, so it's not boring at all. The university keeps conducting short 1-3 days workshops every month. Extracurricular activities, sports, and competitions keep taking place all one after the other. The university is very lively and takes extracurricular activities seriously. Participation in events like these is very impressive, the workshops really do pay off, and the events are just always exhilarating and enjoyable.

Hostel Facilities :

The boy's hostel on the campus is called Devadan Hall which consists of four blocks namely A, B, C, and D. Each Block has 4 floors. The hostel provides rooms of three sharing and four sharing, which are well maintained and kept. There is only a common washroom for every student on a particular floor. There is also a girls' hostel on campus, but it is only for MBA female Students. The hostel for Undergraduate girls is situated around 100-200 meters from the campus's main gate. It is called Jyothi Nyala. There is no mess on campus, only 6 canteens so we are given the freedom and liberty to eat from anyone of them.

Alumni/Alumna :

CHRIST UNIVERSITY has an Alumni Network on the official website and the alumni of the University are always updated with the latest news and information on the things going in and around the campus.

Exam Structure :

I have not appeared in any semester Examinations yet, but I have appeared for tests and the tests are very much on schedule PUNCTUALITY is something the university is very strict with. All courses and classes go on as planned so there is not much stress on the students as well as the teachers. The same goes for the labs, experiments all go on as prepared by the faculty-in-charge, and vivas take place accordingly.

Faculty :

The faculty is very much approachable, friendly, and kind. All faculties are well qualified and have degrees from various colleges from all over India and also from other countries. Though most of the faculties do not have Ph. D degrees in their respective fields, they are currently pursuing their Ph. D's in Deemed universities all over India.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to get placements from their 6th to 7th semester as whatever basic is needed by them to a company is embedded into them. Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Cisco, and many other companies visit our college and make many offers. The highest package in my course was 47 L.P.A previous year and average is 7 to 8 L.P.A. Almost all students get placed in our branch almost every year. I just wanna do a start-up after completion of my course and getting my degree.
