My college experience

Remarks :

I was selected in this college by telephonic interview as I took admission when covid was at the peak. I was suggested by a friend to take admission here because he said by just spending 7 lakh or stuff he got a package of 12 lakh and is placed with Byjus. He said the college has a nice environment, brilliant professors, everybody is supporting students from the date of admission till they are placed. I was very happy listening to something which was true and which is reality. Because everybody out there just needs your admission by being influenced through brokers and all which is fake but as I heard my friend I applied for this college, I was selected and I'm really really happy with the quality of knowledge that they provide. Highly highly recommend this college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

PGDM is although costly but it provides a more wide aspect of knowledge. Here I'd heard that the faculty for PGDM is the best faculty. Again I would say the best staff, best knowledge. The material which is given is in ppt form. One can easily read it without getting bored, excellent teaching techniques are used. Teachers have completed their PhD. Also, the minimum students per class are around 40. Also have never faced difficulty in the exams as what was taught was given in the exams, notes were really helpful while exams as they had a layman language and one could easily understand and by heart it. The teaching pattern is dome through TCS ION which was very new to me but is easy to access and provided me with many guidelines during exams.

Internships Opportunities :

The same companies which come for placements also come for SIP and WIP the same procedure is being followed which is very systematic. At the end of the day, every student is placed in some company. College force students to take part and hence that results in 100% placement.

Placement Experience :

Avg package is 8.5 lakh. The highest is 20 lakh. Many companies come to the campus, Excellent hiring process is done. Many of my seniors are placed in Deloitte modelled phone pay byjus etc. Happy with the placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

7 lakh is a fee for 2 years. Which has hostel accommodations included in it. The hostels are very nice. They provide oven induction in the kitchen geaser in every washroom ovens in the kitchen. The fee is worth paying I don't think PGDM in you lakh is too much with and avg package of 8.5 lakh. Also for a sip, we have nic companies that come to the campus and hire interns monthly pay for beginning is 10000. Loans can easily be financed.

Campus Life :

A fest named vista happens in March end or April first week. Which is for 2 weeks. A great event to participate in it has all the cultural activities sports activities and academics too. The library has a nice stock of books. They ain't limited they are too much. A very nice and healthy environment is provided to study. Student council and Rotaract club are two clubs which are formed by students. They organise every event which has to be held in the academic year.

Hostel Facilities :

The charges are not known by us as the college says that the fees of hostel for a year is included in the fees of college. The hostel doesn't have a mess in the area. But the college has hired some mess and this way we have food. The hostels are well maintained in a very nice condition proper cleaning of the washrooms are done washing machine is provided (and I'm very happy because of this).

Admission :

Personal interview

Interview Experience :

Yes, it 2as supposed to held on campus but due to covid, it happened on the call. I received a call after a day that said I was selected. I still remember that interview day because one can easily have a conversation man to man but when it is on call you are not able to judge the expression and stuff but it happened very pleasantly.

From trimester 4, students are eligible for placements. Every year, top pharmaceutical corporations pay visits to institutions. Pharmaceuticals, medical devices, market research, consulting, IT healthcare verticals, diagnostics, medical communication, nutraceuticals, and other related healthcare sectors are just a few of the industries where students might find work. Sales, marketing, business analysis, project management, client servicing and business development, international marketing, and operations are among the job profiles they pursue. Every year, the most expensive bundles change. Companies give PPOs to high-performing employees.

Placement Experience:

There is a summer internship after the first 3 trimesters where companies come for interviews and roles depend on the company that selects you. It is for 2-3 months usually and is compulsory ie a part of the curriculum to complete to qualify for the degree. Same for final placement, interviews begin after the 4th trimester is done. More than 50 companies came to campus for final placement and highest package given was 11.2 lakhs and average was 8.8 lakhs which depended on the company and the job role. Roles are offered for consulting, IT, media, manufacturing and banking and finance roles of HR Generalist, HR Business Analyst and Talent Acquisition. Companies such as Godrej, IndusInd bank, TCS, Zee, Meru, Capstone, etc were the prominent companies for the final placement. 100% placement was achieved for the HR specialization.

Students sit for their Summer placements from the 2nd Trimester onwards. NM has a trimester system. A total of 181 companies visited the campus for the Summers of 2020-22 batch. 28 of them were from Fortune 500 companies and 90 new recruits. The total number of offers made was roughly 650-700 and still counting. The highest stipend was 3 lakhs and the average stood at 1.2 lakhs. Top 50 offers clocked an average of 2.48 lakhs. The different profiles for which the companies came were IT analytics, Consulting, E-commerce, BFSI, FMCG, FMCD, Retail, Pharmaceutical, Media & Telecom, Logistics, oil, and gas, etc. NMIMS Mum has 100% placement records. After doing my MBA I plan to go back to Corporate and learn and implement at the workplace. Thereby have self-growth and also bring revenues to the company.

They do have a placement committee. Most of my classmates are already placed at top-notch brands and agencies through the placement cell. Post 9 months, we have to do a mandatory internship to get hands-on experience of the industry life and work culture.
