HKBKCE is a co-educational college in Bengaluru, spread on a lush green land of 14 acres. It is a constituent of the HKBK Group of Educational Institutions. It has more than 10,000 students with over 300 highly-qualified faculty members on its campus. Having more than 35,000 alumni network, the College is listed among the top 50 colleges in India. It was ranked seventh under ‘The Most Promising B- Schools’ category in All India National Survey 2018 and fourth as India’s emerging B-School by Times B-School Annual Ranking 2019. Adding a feather to its hat, the college has recently received the ‘Best Education Brand 2020’ award by The Economic Times.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It's a very good college for students who are willing to study BTech, and this is the right college which makes students' life bright. We can be ready to attend any interviews because they provide placement training. This is the best college for electronics and communication engineering.

Placement Experience :

More than 85% of the students from our course got placed. Our branch was the third-highest to get placements after computer science. The highest salary package offered was 14 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 6 LPA. Nearly 75% of the students got placed in the first round only. Almost 80 percent of students get placements every year in the first year of college, the Google company came to college for recruiting students in the 1st and 2nd year for internship purpose. Top recruiting companies are - HP, Dell, Wipro, Infosys, JP Morgan.

Fees and Financial Aid :

500000 for ECE, the scholarship we get here from government and management scholarship based on merit, and many other scholarships provided. National scholarship portal, SSP, Epass, Candidates who have performed well in their qualifying board examinations are eligible to obtain scholarship as per the College norms. The qualifying board examinations including 10+2 of CBSE and ICSE, PUC, JEE Main, and other such qualifying examinations as per University rules. Students opting for technical courses, who have scored above 90%, will get a tuition fee waiver of INR 25000. Students opting for non-technical courses, who have scored above 85%, will get a tuition fee waiver of INR 10000 and many others.

A Brief Review of My College (New Horizon College of Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Experience at new horizon.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Experience through words

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.
