Your pick if you don't like attending colleges

Remarks :

College management is lousy and money oriented. Computer department is only strict department with regular lectures and practicals. Mechanical department is very much loose department in all terms and Civil department is the same but you need to be careful with the faculties here as they are very good at holding grudges onto students but civil department is very particular about the difficult subjects and undertakes time to time lectures and practicals regarding the same. All in all if you're not in comp and it department and don't like attending college this is the best college for you as it is close to city and you get the freedom to do anything you want to rather then being just an engineering nerd compulsively attending 75% of college.

Entrance Preview :

I got admitted for direct second year in degree after completion of diploma course. Opted for this college as it was convenient to stay close to the city rather then going to some place far away from the city.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Whatever is planned by the superior authorities i.e. HOD isn't well applied by the faculties. The college follows the curriculum as prescribed by the university which is less then satisfactory. There is no focus in research at all just like other engineering colleges offering B.E course.

Placement Experience :

Good placements for comp and it departments. Need to stay in touch with the TPO officer for mechanical as well as civil placements.

College Events :

College fest is the most widely celebrated event inside the college. Students participate extra curricular events such as Baja and Supra and are making achievements outside the college. Once there is success the college supports these students as well in all terms.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is a little less then the surrounding colleges but you end up paying more for the facilities you get.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Free Ship for economically backward class and scholarship for socially backward classes as granted by the government.

Campus Life :

Gender ratios is less with less female students. Extra curricular activities are mostly initiated by the students and if you have good relationships with the faculties in which case if you are a member of students association you sure can plan out and the faculties would be supportive. Baja seminar is being conducted as this college's Baja Buggie is quiet popular and very successful as compared to nearby colleges. Do not mess with locals here they are very volatile.

Hostel Facilities :

Surrounding Pg's aren't up to the mark the only decent stay close to the college is in the developing societies nearby with the rent around 6-7 thousand for 1 bhk or in the kharadi area which is closest and comparatively cheap with the rent of 9 thousand for 1 bhk. Good pg's can be found in the area of kharadi as well.

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are very friendly and most of them behave like good friends good opportunities of networking as well.

Exam Structure :

Labs have been arranged in a very cramp manner with almost all equipment as specified by the university, but only 40-50% of equipment are useful.

Faculty :

Most of the faculties are preparing for M.E, but are helpful in case of your doubts.

From the third-year sixth semester our college taking campus placement or internship programs. In the past, our college has got an average of 4 LPA packages and the highest 12 or 14 LPA packages. There are so many companies like TCS, COGNIGENT, WIPRO, etc. Our College gives 95-98% placement in engineering. My plan is to do a job in a data scientist post in the company and give my best to that company that's all.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their last year. There are many good companies that come and take part in the placement drives. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini etc. come here for placements. The highest package in my understanding was about 30 lakhs as studied and searched by me. Many students secure packages above 3.5 lakhs in our college. About 90% of students get placed through the drives. My plan is also to take a good job from placement and then do my masters.

Admission:

I got admission through CAP Round as directed by AICTE and DTE, the process is of 3 rounds until you choose a college and finalize it. Admission dates for FE students start from around May-June period as college opens at around 15 July approx. And Students need to bring all documents attested and submit the original 10th- 12th documents in the college and after completing the graduation. He/She can collect the originals from the college after collecting LC from the college.
