Remarks :

This college has provided me the knowledge, the friends, the campus where you can say yes this is my world, The 3 years of course had made my life. I suggest students to opt for this college and i am sure you will fly with beautiful colors. This college was the path changer of my life, have turned me from Average Student to the Best Student who can compete with the toppers.

Entrance Preview :

I have appeared for Common Entrance Test(CET), I have got 213th rank, With this ranking, i had all colleges open for me and i have opted for BMSCE. There were two main reason to opt for BMSCE, The very first reason is about its campus placements, There are 200+ companies every year visiting BMSCE for campus placements. The second reason about curriculum results, 99-100% results every year.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have opted for Master of Computer Applications, Its a 3 years course with 6 semesters, for each semester we have 8 subjects, the first 3 semester's subjects are the same for all, from 4th semester we have electives where the student can opt his favorite subject.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes it does provide internship, The campus placement has one rule, you cannot appear for interview if already have 2 offers letters. I have got placed in IBM and Accenture. I have opted for Accenture as it provided internship as well. I have got stipend of Rs. 10,000 per month, but this 5 years earlier, now the stipend may approx 18,000/20,000. The Overall experience was good and happy to get placed from campus.

Placement Experience :

BMSCE has a tie up with oracle, Accenture, Microsoft, BMW, Mercedes, Bosch, and many other companies total of 200 plus. Over all almost 80-85% students gets placed from campus. The Annual Salary package ranges between 3 Lac to 20 Lac. There was one student from Computer Science department who got placed with the package of 19.5 LPA.

College Events :

BMSCE is known for its annual fest "UTSAV" a cultural event where several activities like dancing, singing, drama are encouraged, every day some or other higher seem students come and introduce the new activities in college. Its been 5 years now after completing the course but i never miss this fest. There was one event known as "Phaseshift" a technical event that happened a few months ago was actually good, I participated in quadcopter workshop, they teach how to make quadcopter and we made one that flew a 70 feet height from the ground. The management, the faculties were friendly and co-operative. We have the outdoor and indoor stadium and the fun part is the annual fest - UTSAV, The one of the best fests in Bangalore.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is not too expensive and it again depends on how you join the college, if you join through kcet then it will be around Rs 45000 govt fee plus college fees rs 22000. If comedk then Rs 110000 plus college fee Rs 22000. Management means they will demand high amount like one of my friend from Iran gave 11 lac donation plus some college fee.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I don't think college will give any loan or scholarships. But I have applied for minorities scholarship. Many other scheme are there to benefit us. College has got Allahabad Bank they provide student loan at low rate of interests.

Campus Life :

The gender ratio is almost the same, i can say 45 % females and 55% male, There would be some or the other events in each department every year and if you consider through out the year you will see some or the other events running in this campus. Here the students are eager to do something innovative, the students are open minded and do mingle with other departments. They do respect gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status, As per me i have never heard such partiality.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are good and they give you WiFi also with average speed, rooms are neat and clean plus toilets are clean every hour a lady comes and clean the washrooms. So it worth the high cost of 1.10 lac per annum. Hostel seats are limited so need to reserved it at the beginning of the annual year.

Alumni/Alumna :

We are always scared about seniors, when they gonna rag us, In this college there is zero tolerance for ragging. My seniors were very helpful, Whenever we get any doubts or any help related to projects we used to get connect with the seniors, they also used to share the notes what they have prepared. I must say seniors are kind of a guide who shows us the path for success.

Exam Structure :

Honestly speaking i will get freaked out because of exams, every 20 days you will have exam, either lab or theory internals, they take best of 2/3 in theory internal, after 3 internals you will get semester end exam. You have to open books every now and then. The only time you will be free is the end of the Semester exams and the beginning of the semester.

Faculty :

Faculties are good at their teaching style, they encourage students for using internet facility and learn from the labs. The classes are much more interactive and practical. Apart from the syllabus they teach whats the latest technology and inventions. Overall I loved they way of teaching.

Admission:

I actually wrote pgcet and kmat but I came and did my admission through kmat. Firstly we need to provide kmat registration form at college and apply for application online in the college portal then we need to submit even that later we need to pay some amount to get admitted in the college.

Remarks:

I will never give a bad remark on my college nor on the management side, because I always used to get the good feedback from professor to security guys, they always respected me and I was polite to them whenever they talked to me, so their is no point of getting cruel or making wild faces on them. I was know by everyone in the college.
