Remarks :

Good aspects: faculty is good. 1st rank college for BCom Hons. in IPU. Spacious Campus, Good Location. Nearest to Metro station. Hostel facility. Bad aspects: Infrastructure is not that good. The hostel has some biased rules and regulations for boys and girls. No space for sitting in the canteen area. Admission Process: Entrance Exam, Cet Rank, Choice of selecting the colleges based on Cutoffs. Selecting college(s) on the basis of CET rank and cut-offs of different colleges. Filling application form of the selected colleges. Checking the websites of respective colleges for updates. Visiting the college after the update on their college website and completing the documentation process and fee payment. Reason for preferring this college over others:- The best college for BCom Honours in IPU. Bcom honours department's faculty is excellent. Website used for selecting this college: msi-ggsip.org.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I wished to get specialization in commerce that's why I chose BCom Hons. over Bcom, BMS, BBA, etc. Faculty Student ratio: 8:60. Qualification of the faculty and teaching method: M.Com, M.Phil, M.Ed, MBA, PhD, UGC-NET, JRF-NET. All the faculty is excellent in the subjects. Good communication between students and teachers. The term exams were timely. It is generally easy to pass in BCom Hons.

Class Size : 58Course Fees : INR 90000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

1) Drug-Free India-Mosje. 2) Campus 2 Corporate-Global relationship manager; Human Resource; National Business Human Resources; The Talk Show Host. 3) Decathlon. 4) Delta X- International Sales. 5) Team Computers. 6) Kidshifive-Marketing research; Content creator; fashion designer; brand executive. 7) Whitpanda-business development associates.

Placement Experience :

From 5th sem onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies that visited the campus:- Z.S Associates, Jaro Education, Cvent, Symbroj Media Pvt. Ltd., Tomorrow one global network Pvt ltd., Mckinley and Rice.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No specific fee hike policy. Cost to study is up to mark. There are many Scholarship opportunities especially for those who are financially poor. Many companies come for placement like Jaro Education, Cvent, ZS associates, Wipro, etc.

Campus Life :

Annual Fest of MSI-GENESIS (generally in the 1st/2nd week of Jan). Tech Fest: Avensis of MSIT (generally in the 1st/2nd week of Jan). Subject related books are available in the library. There is the provision of book bank from where one can get books for a sem for free using their College ID. Classrooms are spacious. Whiteboard and blackboard. Provision of the projector. Sports and extracurricular activities: Football, Badminton, Music society, Dance Society, Drama Society, Fashion society, Debate society, Finance cell, Literary society, Marketing society, Photography society, etc. All societies have their students as their president who runs the society every year. Each society's Instagram and Facebook page is run by the present president of the society (student).

Hostel Facilities :

Facilities provided in the room (Double sharing room). One tube light, one fan, 2 chairs, 2 study tables, 2 single beds without mattresses, 2 cemented cupboards. Meal quality is good. The menu is fixed for a week which is followed throughout the semester. The registration process for hostel and affordability. CET rank and resident location (Preference to outside Delhi residents) Janakpuri, Delhi.

Hostel Fee : INR 75000 per year

Admission :

Entrance and Merit both are considered for the admission.

Review which can help somebody.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester the students became eligible for the placement but because average placement of my college is not so good, most of the students don't wait for the college placement. My plan after getting the degree is to study other professional courses in Commerce field.

Average package: 7.4 LPA (approx) Highest package: 21 LPA (approx) as per Placement Cell data. Companies such as Deloitte, Wipro, EY, KPMG, Crowe, Morgan Stanley, De shaw & Co, Walmart, PWC, Accenture, Mother Dairy etc took place in the most recent placement drive of our college. If no campus placement is offered, one can go for off campus placements and approach people and companies through LinkedIn. They may also go for Higher Education such as MCom, MBA or any professional courses such as CA, CPA, CFA, FRM etc. I feel Placement Cell of Ramjas College puts its best foot forward in order to bring the best companies on campus, assisting students throughout the process, and smooth onboarding in companies. the placement scenarios starts in the 5th semester. many MNCs visit the college and the most placed students are from b.com and b.com honours. I don't know about the other courses but I don't think they get many opportunities in college placement. average placement for b.com and BCom is around 5 lakh. the highest package ever offered was around 20 lakh as mentioned in college website.
