Remarks :

I have already mentioned most of the details about my college in several sections. The things mentioned are as per my experience in TIT. Concluding all the facts TIT is not as per my expectations and it is the same case with all the students out here. Academics is good in first year but the graph decreases as the year increases. According to me I would not recommend TIT for engineering at all. If you land up in this college through college better change the idea of engineering from your mind.

Entrance Preview :

I managed to Score 65 in JEE MAINS and was allocated to Technocrats Institute Of Technology. I had mentioned some government and some other private colleges in the counselling form managed by JEE. But I wasn't selected in other colleges due to low marks. Finally, I was selected by Technocrats Institute of Technology, which was the 3 or 4th college on my list. Since them I am in Technocrats Institute of Technology.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I belong to Computer Science and Engineering Department. So I'd like to discuss about the course structure related to Computer Science and Engineering. There are total of 8 semesters, Courses are divided into these 8 semesters. Each semester consists of five courses with some other practical subjects such as GD/seminars and some programming concepts such as java and .net Technologies. I personally don't feel that the courses in any manner are designed for research or focusing research. Most of the courses offered are theory based with very less exposure to the practical world of subjects. Most of the courses are classroom centered and they are covered in classroom. Particularly talking about my College, Technocrats Institute of Technology there are very few Practical Sessions and faculty is also very poor in the field of Practical arena.

Internships Opportunities :

I'm currently in 3rd year (V semester) and haven't yet heard about the internships provided by the college. However, there is a Training and placement cell and provides basic training for the placement of Students. I have just heard that college refers some other companies for the internships.

Placement Experience :

There is a particualar Training and Placement Cell that manages the Training and Placement of Students. Though the institute have mentioned about 210 recruiters on there website there are only few recruiters that enter the campus. Among the recruiter that enter in our college, provide a packages of about 2.5 to 4 Lacs per anum. TCS, Vipro , Accenture are our main recruiters.

College Events :

Annual Day of College is celebrated as 'Tech fest' in college. Many tech games and other games are organised on the same day. Tech fest lasts about 2-3 days. Some of the programs that are organised in TIT are coding contests, Gaming contests, This is all about the Extra Curricular Activities that are organised in TIT.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees in TIT is about 76000 per anum. Among 76000 , 12000 is bus fee or transportation fee and rest is the academic fee. Considering the quality of education and infrastructure provided by college, fees is expensive. Students need to pa half of 76000, i.e 38000 per semester otherwise their forms are not forwarded.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No there are not any scholarships or loan facility offered by college to me. However it provided some scholarships ships for SC/ST and OBC students.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio is about 60 to 40 ratio as to male is to female however, Mechanical and Civil branches have very few Females. Talking about the diversity most of the students here are from Bihar, UP and Bhopal itself. There are very few extra curricular activities. There is very rare exposure to the sports. And competitions such as robotics and debates are also very rare.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel Facilities are provided only to the first year Students. Hostel is within the campus. There is a large and good mess and canteen facilities with many food items available there. Mess and canteen Facilities are good in TIT. Canteen and mess runs as TIT Cafeteria in campus.

Alumni/Alumna :

Senior students help the juniors in organizing the events here. However there is not much interaction between seniors and juniors they are helpful when concerned.

Exam Structure :

Every Semester here consists of 2 Mid semester PUT(Pre. University Test). Whether its a answer sheet of Mid Semesters or PUT Exams, are never checked. Marks are given to the students in random manner without putting much efforts. After all those MID semesters and PUTs there is the final semester which lasts about a month. It includes the theory paper and practical exams as well. Both of them are conducted in very good manner. The theory paper lasts about three hours and practical session or viva is completed in 5 - 10 mins. College provides good marking to students on practical and viva session.

Faculty :

Though my college manages to present good faculties on the board or ads, Faculty inside is not that much qualified and interested in teaching. I wouldn't say that all are poor in this category, there are good ones as well but most of the faculty is poor in knowledge about the subjects.Even the teachers working in the college for about 5-10 years too do not have good knowledge about the subject and their teaching methodology is also not Developed according to the scenario. These were the things about the classroom lectures. Talking about the practical section of the course there are very few teacher who are good in that. Teachers here don't teach well but always expect students to attend their classes.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year onwards. The companies visited till now are ConsultAdd, Decode, Gammastak, Daffodil, TCS Digital, And next is Capgemini and Wipro. The highest package till now is 20 Lpa. And the average is 4. But many of my colleges till now are been placed in TCS Digital with a package of 7.5. 95% of the students from CS, IT are placed every year. By joining the company in which I got placed or if scored good marks in gate then I will continue with my further studies by doing Mtech.

I had a little trouble in my first year when I had to stand in a long line to submit my fees. From 2nd year (2013) onward, the only mode of depositing fees is now restricted to online fee payment which saves a lot of time and brings up more transparency.
