Remarks :
Overall good environment for medium class student. Management is quite helpful. This is the only govt. engg. college in jharkhand. Placement is good. Many of its alumni are far reached throughout the globe. It provides about more than 10 branches of engg.
Entrance Preview :
I was qualified in JCECE by securing 101 marks. In the college I checked the previous years placement records and noticed that almost ~95% of students got recruited from C.S.E branch.
Course Curriculum Overview :

Each branch has its own building and laboratories and each department has their own libraries and computer facilities. The college has a lush green campus .There are ten engineering departments in the college and each engineering department has its own building.BIT Sindri was the first college in Asia which introduced the course of Production Engineering. It has a wide spread campus of 440 acres. The whole and sole management of the college is done by Government of Jharkhand.A lot of cultural fests are organised in the college campus. In the session of 2014-2015 many celebrities had their performances in the college campus such as'Divya Kumar' and the band'Under Ground Authority.

Fee Structure And Facilities :
It is about 45–50 thousands per year including fooding, lodging, examination fees and tuition fees per yearr 13700 +2850+4800=21350 approx total for one year 21350*4=85400 approx for four year this is the official fee you pay additional cost= Mess charge per day basis (Rs. 80-90 per day) so I think its extremely feasible.
Campus Life :
In this campus boys students are 90%of total students only 10% girls students are here i don't know the reason but girls % is not increasing since many years i think the reason is because of its locality. It is outside area of main town. also there is not so good environment for girls here. other than this everything is ok you can see every religion's student here 80% students are from jharkhand itself. some are from Bihar .Bengal and other States mostly are Hindus and Muslims some are local Christians all live in peace and harmony there is a student union whose President is elected by voting each year this Union helps in all sort of problems and activities for welfare of students our college.
Hostel Facilities :
Cooperative seniors. Need Books, drafters, question papers, workshop uniforms? Contact a senior, and there you go. Also, you won't feel like you've entered a tiger's cage in a senior hostel. Free Studentship. Present Jharkhand government has announced free studentship for girls studying in any state government funded Medical, Polytechnic and Engineering institutes. We (the first year girls) have been refunded more than 50% of the tuition fee we had paid at the time of admission, for this academic year. Zero ragging. Yes, I will rate that zero. Till now we have not been subjected to any harassment by our seniors. Even if there is some of it, it's nothing compared to that of the boys.
