Remarks :

DTU is a Delhi government college and also an Institution of National Importance. Its location was the major factor for which I've choosen this college for my next 4 years journey. Since Delhi is a metro city, it will provide a lot of exposure to me for my internship opportunities. Also, the sports facilities and the working of societies was also the key factor in choosing this college. I've also gone through many YouTube channels like Yash Geez who himself is a DTU Chemical engineering student and has reviewed DTU college. Also, collegedunia has also helped me in getting to a final decision.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Engineering Physics course is available only in 4-5 top colleges in India like IIT DELHI, IIT MADRAS, DTU. DTU EP is performing so well in terms of placement. Also, the EP course is a mixture of Pure Applied Physics and ECE. This is an ideal course for someone who really loves to explore physics and has an interest in Electrical. It's also a great course for a Robotics lover like me. I think the faculties available in DTU EP are so great that they make every so easy to understand by relating it to the surrounding. EP is quite a difficult branch but if you have an interest in the topics taught, this won't be a great headache for you.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 190000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Lots of internship opportunities are there in college. But it would be difficult for an EP branch student to get an internship. If you have coding skills it would be easier for you to crack an internship offer.

Placement Experience :

Placement is the things for which DTU is known for. DTU EP placement is great but not in the core field. EP placements are available in non-tech companies like Data analyst. Most of the EP graduate students opt for higher studies and got selected in the world's top universities for their Phd. The average package for EP will be around 8LPA

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Being a government college the fee of DTU is not too high in comparison to other top colleges. Infact IIT's fees are more than DTU fees. Also, Dtu is among the top engineering college in India so the Return on Investment is all high. There are so many scholarships available including private and several government scholarships.

Campus Life :

DTU campus is just full of chill. Every day you gonna experience new events. The societies here are very active in indulging you in activities apart from academics. This college is the right place for all-round development. Dtu has a gym facility with all the modern equipment. The sports facility is all awesome but the only thing that is missing is a swimming pool. Dtu annual fest ENGIFEST is the second biggest cultural fest in Delhi after IIT DELHI. In DTU lots of free time will available to you for exploring new skills.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel life is the best memorable part for a college student. And engineering is all about hostel life. DTU provides hostel facilities to those who are from outside Delhi or your residence is away from 35km of the college. The hostel room in Dtu will be available with basic Furniture on a triple sharing basis. Mess food is also great in comparison to other colleges.

Since, BS MS is a academia based course for which you have to go for heigher studies like Phd. But I was to get into a technical field.

LNMIIT JAIPUR | BTech ECE

Since LNMIIT is an private college, so the fee was so high that I can't afford.

IIT DELHI INSIDE STORY

Placement Experience:

All the big Mncs and heavily paying firms come to our college . Most of then are open for every students. But some only open for top branches. Placement are best in iits but some students go for UPSC and other for MBA or higher studies , so the percentage drops.

My aunt was the teacher in this college and my jee rank was good so in my jee rank i got the best college and its fees is less so there was no prblm. And there is strictness for studies. The students should have 75%attendence.

Placement of this college is too good as avg is 11 lakh per annum so the college as the mass recruiters like infosis and amazon and flipkart and byjus come in our college to give job to our honourable students the avg income of mechanical student from mait is 20 lakh per annum
