Remarks :

MTU is the first technical university of the state established on 23rd April 2016 under 'The Manipur Technical University Act, 2016. It has five streams namely. Its facilities are library, laboratories gallery, start-up cell, freshers meet, internship cell, massive open online course (MOOC) cell, hostels, health care, games and sports, etc. For the admission, I recieved a graph from the bank and submitted tha chalan to university. I preferred this university over others because as the first time engineering college in our state they offered many facilities like mentioned in the above.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I love computer engineering. There are so many faculties. They are almost dr in their sub. It's about starting the class online. Students always have a higher number than the faculties. Teachers are quite good. They taught us in the best way. And we also get beautiful knowledge. The exam was a few difficulties. It has the 8th semester.

Course Fees : INR 36000 per year

Placement Experience :

From 3rd semester according to their grade, students become eligible for campus placements. I have no ideas about companies but in the prospectus, there are about 10 companies including airtel visited. Above 75 percent students getting placements. To be in a multi-level company.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For 1st semester it has 36000, for 2nd semester it has 24000 up to 7th semester. All scholarship are eligible to be applied. I applied Eshan Udday scheme under UG. For general and obc the fees are 36000 for a semester and for sc, st and others the fees are 24000 around.

Campus Life :

As I was in the 1st semester during this lockdown, classes are conducted online. So I don't have brief knowledge about campus internal info. In the library, there are lots of books viz. journals, novels, reference books regarding the subjects, fictions, etc. In the middle of the semester, there is a sport programe. For better communication, there is WhatsApp grp, personal mail for university.

IIIT MANIPUR Worth going for?

Placement Experience:

Minimum of 30 companies come to our each year and almost 80 percent of candidates who are eligible for placement drives get job offers. Keep in mind 6.5 cpi is a necessary requirement to sit in placement drives also with no backlogs.

IIIT Manipur. Worth going for

Placement Experience:

Minimum of 30 companies visit this college each year and most of the 80 percent of the eligible candidates get a job offer. Well candidates below 6.5 cpi are not eligible for placement drives and they must not have any backlogs too. Average and minimum salary of this college is pretty decent for its ranks with 10 lakhs as an average package

My POV on NIT Manipur

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are elgible from 5th semester. Offers of campus placements from companies are usually IT sector companies like Microsoft, Amazon, etc. The highest package is around the range of 25 lakhs. The average package ranges around 6-7 lakhs. Around 70-75% of students gets placement each year. My plans after this degree is to go for civil exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose this course is due the factors such as future career aspirations, passion, parental influence, job opportunities, etc. Our college curriculum prepares the students with benefits to deal with the real world such as a broader sense of community and more opportunities for collaboration. Some suggestions are supporting academic risk, building collaborative relationships, and many other benefits. Exams should be done in such a manner that it provides a good gap Between exams for the students to be mentally and physically stable.

As for aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course from a counselling through not my own interest. But as further studying it is fun and i prefer for further academic pursuits. We have no extra curriculum but students can always do some on the side so when we have a sports event all of the students have their own field like everyone is well mostly are talented and it keeps the other students always wanting to compete in a gaood way.About exam they take exam whenever they are please so that students should always be prepared .

woeful reality of NIT Manipur

Placement Experience:

Placements are overall good but have seen a certain decline in 2023-24 due to the recession as well as the situation in Manipur. Companies like Amazon, Discovery, and Edfora have visited our campus. The highest package of 47LPA was offered to only one student, while most of the most of the students have got placements under 14LPA.

After 8 semester students become eligible for campus placement but he may get pre placement offer of he so talented L&T , Tech Mahindra , Tata, BEL, INFYOSIS , wipe out, powegrid, Microsoft, etc companies have 147 placement offers. 80 percent are placed. My plans are to do business after graduation.

A nice place to grow with whole lot of oppurtunities

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, the students become eligible for placements. Almost all tech giants visit the campus like Amazon, Cognizant, Discovery, Samsung, Mahindra & Mahindra, L&T, etc. The highest package offered is 47 LPA by Amazon and the average package is 10 LPA. 70% of the students get placed and you can opt for higher studies too.

Yes, MTU offers great placement opportunities to its students. The university has a placement cell that is responsible for all the placement activities. Various national and international recruiters such as Ericsson, Infosys, HP, Airtel, SBI, etc. participates in the placement programs of MTU.
