Remarks

This college is in my locality and ranked almost in the top 2 colleges of Bihar. It is also 2nd oldest established college in Bihar although it is not as famous as it should be because of educational backwardness in Bihar our college faculty and management are trying their best to develop their reach. I was focused on quality education from faculty and affordable college on basis of fees. I applied for on spot admission on 12th merit basis and got selected among 300 qualified students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I opted 5-year law course because I have seen legal works and processes since my childhood and from then I was only focused to join the legal profession anyhow.faculty-student ratio is around 1:35 in my course. They all are too qualified and capable in thier subjects. Our college is popular for its quality education so I have never doubted their abilities. The course is divided into 5- yearly term exams as of now I have not appeared in any of the term examinations but at the end of every year there is a yearly examination and on that basis, students are promoted to their next year.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

As mentioned earlier I am in the first year of my course so I don't know much about this but in the previous year, they offered good quality internships in local offices and district courts as seniors input. College management is responsible for all internship help.

Placement Experience

3.5

In the final year, students get offered the job, as of now job options are low but college management is trying hard for bringing high-level companies. local factories and private sectors come and offer the job to students in placement fair, quality students always achieve what they wish and college also helps them.40-50% of students get job offers and others go for high education or judiciary and gov job preparation.I am in 1st year so I don't know about accurate packages.

Fees and Financial Aid

College yearly fees are 12000, and around 1500 for prospectus and form at the time of admission. Exam fees are 500 and other miscellaneous charges are there like lab and library fees but they are also affordable. The fee is too low so there is nothing to worry about that but if you want a loan facility then Bihar government student credit card facility for your college fee, hostel fee, and books. The fee usually remains the same for complete course tenure. internship and job facility is also there and increasing year by year.

Campus Life

3.5

There are many fest and events organized in our college throughout each year in honor of our college ex principals, secretaries, and great leaders of our Bihar. the library is accomplished with more than 14000 books and many journals. classrooms are well equipped with teaching facilities, quality benches and desks are available. Smart classrooms are also available for special classes. Sports and extracurricular activities always organized in our college to encourage students for physical and mental activities. Students association is made every year there for the welfare of students.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel facility is only available for girls.so if you are a girl you can opt for a hostel facility at a very minimal charge, and they provide a really good environment. seats are only 48 so you can avail yourself that on a first come first get basis. male students can opt for outside hostels and pg or they can also rent a room near t college.

Placement Experience:

CNLU is generally known for Judiciary. The majority of students are preparing for the Judiciary exam. Placement at this college is quite low compared to other colleges. This is because in placement very few students sit and appear for the placements. The majority of the students opt for higher studies like LLM or other PG courses or start preparing for Judiciary or Civil service exams. The main disadvantage of low placement is the geographical location of this college. It is situated in Patna where there is no company resides. All the major companies are in Delhi, Mumbai, or other big cities. Patna is underdeveloped which is why most of the big companies don't come to recruit the students. Students are eligible for placement from the eighth semester only. After completing his/her graduation they can join the company. Major companies visited for placement are banks and second-tier law firms. Approx 25% of students get placed during the year. I am planning to prepare for the judiciary.
