Remarks :

1. The college idls famous 2. Reference from alumni 3. Exposure since college is in a big city like Mumbai 4. There are many research institutes near college 5. Fests in college, both related to curricular and cultural

Course Curriculum Overview :

The syllabus is better when compared to some universities in India but not as good as central universities. It mainly focusses on theoretical aspects and very little on applications or jobs related to yhe course. The faculty is experienced and supportive. They are approachable at any time.

Internships Opportunities :

The college will provide an internship letter which is basically an application letter to the concerned company. I worked at the Rubber Research Institute of India as a summer intern in the rubber technology department. There was no stipend.

Placement Experience :

There is a placement cell in college that takes care of tje placements. Students who register with the placement cell get notified about any hiring that happens.

College Events :

The annual fest of college, Malhar is Asia's biggest college festival which includes many cultural events like dance, music, drama, literature etc. There are other fests as well like jan fest and ithaka. Other than these some departments conduct their own fests like alchemia from chemistry.

Campus Life :

The campus has a Wi-Fi connection but its quality is very poor. There aree two libraries, one only for reference and the other one lending from where we can take books home and return. All science subjects have separate laboratories including 2 chemistry labs and one each for physics, botony, zoology, microbiology, biotechnology, geology and 2 research laboratories each for chemistry and biotechnology. All the labs are well equipped. The geology lab has a hugr collection of rare fossils, minerals and rocks. A big draw back of the college infrastructure is lack of space. There is not enough space for recreation.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms are available only for boys that also in first and third years only. The rooms are shared by 2 and sometimes 3 people. They dont have a separate mess. So they will have to depend on the college canteen for food or order from outside.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The internal exams are very important to give and also it is very difficult to pass in internals. In the exam, the supervisors are also 2 in each class and they are also very strict. No student can copy in this college. The faculties are also highly educated and their teaching method is also very good. The college has 2 computer labs also.
