Remarks :

BNMIT is a good college to pursue your studies has good faculty, good discipline and good campus go for it.

Entrance Preview :

CET, I read good reviews about this college, also my cousin who had his friends from this college recommended me to join.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Class running notes would sometimes help. Lecturers used to give us written notes, we used to take photocopy of that and learn from that. Also, text books were available both in library and stores. But books for B.E would cost a lot so the feasible option was library.

Internships Opportunities :

No my college does not provide internship. There were no such facility provided by my college ever. Since they did not provide internship or stipend there is no question of writing about it.

Placement Experience :

Placements are pretty good as well. Few companies come to college and also they conduct pool campus placements. I was placed to HP and they offered me 3.4lpa. Next day of my placement with HP, TCS came to my college offering around same package. Since I was already placed, I was not allowed tp attend that.

College Events :

My college had freshers party for us when we joined. After that it was mostly technical festivals that used to happen in BNMIT. The technical fests used to be with much knowledge involved and fun elements with some learning. It was totally fun i can say.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is feasible in my college. It falls under VT University. So we had fixed Government share depending upon the CET score that we got. IF the ranking was less, fee would be less, if the ranking was more fee would be more. This is exclusive of college fee. The college fee would come upto 10K excluding Government fee.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I am really not sure about the loans provided by my college. But I have availed a few scholarships. This was yearly scholarship. And this was provided by the government for merit students who had their aggregate above 70% and i was one among them.

Campus Life :

Campus life was definitely fun. Gender ratio was almost same, boys and girls were equal in number. People joined my college from different parts of the country from north to south. Extracurricular activities were conducted like i mentioned earlier. Labs were excellent. Sports was tremendous, we had 2 sports teachers and my college used to participate in Inter-collegiate fests for sports.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel was good. In fact students like to stay there and they preferred it. The canteen was also good. Every meal used to be different and delicious too. It was about 50 thousand per year per student which included food expenses. The ambiance of the canteen was manageable. It was separate for boys and girls.

Alumni/Alumna :

We have all the alumni of the college connected through a social media. Network is big as of now. This is really helpful to keep in touch with all the seniors, juniors and my classmates.

Exam Structure :

Exams were indeed hectic for me. I am a last minute learner. Exam structure is cool in my college. There will be 8 units in all the subjects. Questions from all 8 units will appear in the question paper and we are supposed to answer any 5 out of 8. That means well preparation for 5 units will do.

Admission :

CET is the entrance exam i took after my PUC. I got a decent score and there was counselling conducted through which i joined. The counselling process was little tedious which i managed to pass through. It is the usual procedure that was conducted during my joining period.

Faculty :

My college had a pretty good, knowledgeable lecturers who were very helpful towards building my knowledge and career.Lecturers used to give us written notes, we used to take photocopy of that and learn from that. They were very keen in helping their students to understand the topics they taught.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

Students gain eligibility for placements right from the end of 5th semester and can apply till the end of the 8th semester. Companies like Accenture, L & T, Goldman Sachs, Kuliza, BMRCL, Deloitte, Phyllo, Iqvia, Cognizant, Capgemini, Airbus, Salesforce, Microsoft, Amazon, Google are few of the many companies that visit our college every year. the highest offer in 2021 was made to 2 people, being 55 lpa and the average runs at around 20 LPA. 75% of the students are placed every year from RV College of Engineering.

Remarks:

Well it was a emerging glorious institution, so I chose it. Also it has good facilities with good experience of atleast 10 years in the field of education. The infrastructure of my university is excellent. It has all the facilities needed for the overall development of a student. Although it us situated little of the city, it is totally worth the travel.
