Entrance Preview :

The entrance exam i wrote was KEAM I scored 570 for it i chose B.Tech civil because i was pretty much interested in constructing companies dams etc. I was very fascinated to even see the building constructions and all happening nearby my area.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Its pretty good there are many opportunities for the students to do their own research, develop their skills etc. The staff members are also very much supportive. Students can bring out their own projects and the management will put in 100% of their effort in in they will guide us in all ways.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, Our college provides internship after each semester students are told to take part in any internships and to provide the internship certificate in the college for extra credit points.

Placement Experience :

Placement cell is just fresh in our college we are the first batch of our college and only with our pass out, one can judge the placement and job opportunities for students in the college. But even then i would say that our college puts in its best efforts for us to get placed in good companies. We are provided with English vocabulary classes and also aptitude tests in our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees is quite ok we get for what we pay there sre also scholarships provided in the college for bpl students. Also the students scoring high marks too are provided with many scholarships. Toppers are also awarded with cash prices. National level scholarships are also provided. For management and nri qouta the fees is adjustable.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

We are having good scholarship schemes students who score high parks need to pay only 50% of the fees in college students who even top in various subjects will get rs5000 as cash price.

Campus Life :

We have arts fest, sports day, football tournaments, volley bal tournaments, badminton tournament, a wooden badminton court, swimming pool,3 football courts,3 basketball courts, teo cricket grounds and athletic ground too. Staffs are provided for various events and items.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel food is quite good Yku get all varities of food here. Its very healthy and hygenic. The fokd available is cheaper too plates are washed properly too. Both vegeterian and non vegeterian is available in the hostel even special foods are cooked upon the students taste.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure :

We are able to chill at the same time study well exams are conducted after each module to ensure that the students are up to date with the portions. Also three internals are also provided for the students parent teacher meet in are conducted after each tests.

Admission :

Its actually based on the marks students will be shortlisted based on their marks and a final list will be published this is meant for the students who wish to join the institute in management seat. But for those who opt to join by merit, they can directly give their preferred college during the allotments after the KEAM results are published.

Faculty :

Teachers are very much interested and dedicated to their profession. They are always at our call no matter how bad one behave in the class, the teacher will be always at your call to clear all your doubts. Proper module tests are conducted by the teachers after finishing each module.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
