Remarks :

In conclusion I would like to conclude that college management was very good and quite helpful.

Entrance Preview :

I have appeared for JCECE-2003 and my rank was 237 and I opted this college because it is best government engineering college in Jharkhand with prestigious history since 1949.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course structure at my time was old and the syllabus was followed from 1987. It was mainly focused on the old languages and theoretical computer science papers. Now the syllabus is updated and more lean towards practical and research area.

Internships Opportunities :

At that there was no internship facility was provide by the college. So I had to manage to get internship out of the college.

Placement Experience :

To be honor there is excellent placement and job opportunities. there are so many multinational companies like TCS, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, Tata Steel,L&T ITC Infotech with average package 4.5 to 5 lacks per annum etc.visited every year to provide job opportunities to the students. average 250 to 300 candidates were appeared per company and out of that around 20 to 30 candidate was selected.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship for meritorious and needy students several other scholarships were provided through different scheme loan facilities were also provided by college through the banks.

Campus Life :

The campus life was in BIT Sindri was memorable and pleasant . It is truth that the number of the male students are comparatively more than the female students. There were several extracurricular activities was organised like annual sports which includes game like cricket, football, volleyball, badminton etc. and annual cultural activities like singingin, dancing ,acting .

Hostel Facilities :

I will rate 9 out of 10 the room is allocated on single basis in first year the room is on sharing basis. rooms were equiped with almirah, chair table for each student. Open space was there for sports in each hostel television and indoor game was provided n each hostel. News paper was provived in common room.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure :

At my time exam was held in yearly basis and in one year there was three part of exam the first and second part was total of 15 marks and third part (final part) was total marks of 70 marks on the day of examination or lab it was total hectic day and give lot of pressure before appearing into the examination.

Admission :

The common notice was published in Newspaper for the new batch admission in 2003, I have bought the form from Bank and filled it up and posted it to JCECE for further process. I have given two test for the entrance including screening (objective) and main (subjective). The result was announced in the national newspaper and I have got rank 237. After this, I have appeared for the counselling in 2003 in Ranchi and took Computer Sc. and Engineering branch.

Faculty :

faculties were highly qualified. maximum of them was Doctorate degree with the high level of knowledge.

Good but not up to the level that college shows.

Placement Experience:

7th semester students become eligible for campus placements . There are many companies visited like accenture - 300000, cognizant- 250000, wipro- 300000, tcs- 200000 Accenture - 300000 per annum. 20 % of students getting placements in the class size of 120. My palns after getting a degree is to become a web developer, frontend.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year one can go for placements, they are eligible. Campus placements do happen. Infosys, tcs, wipro, and many more companies visit here and hire the most skilled engineers. The percentage is obviously really good. A minimum of 80% of the students get placed in good-paying jobs.
