It's a mini delhi university

Remarks :

First thing is that all over the colleges under Delhi University, bhaskaracharya college of applied sciences is the only college with only sciences department which include applied science, allied sciences and some regular science courses. This college situated out of campus in Dwarka, the hi-tech city, which has great pros to keep all the students out from the dirt of politics in campus college like the north campus. The admission process is similar to another college, have no interview formality, but the cutoff for all the course quite high as I got admission in the second cutoff with 94 %. A green campus with all the amenities includes well-furnished labs, library and canteen. Transportation is quite comfortable around it and the stays houses and pg at lowest prices are there. Easy availability of hygienic food nearby college. Vast playground for every sports and tournament. ECA committee also good and conduct various activities to development.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I opted biomedical science over the others because as a biology background I'm quite interested in research and health sector. If we talking about the pattern of course then biomedical science is a tough test but very productive course include all. The app koee and allowed subject with research subject as well. So if you are really interested in research and medical field, just opt this course do master and go for the research and future things. Faculty members quite helpful and very well educated in their field. Many of our faculty work with foreign universities as john Hopkins and Cambridge universities as research publisher. The ratio is about 1:10 which is quite good and the method of teaching is offline as well online by the help of presentations. Exams are semester based, internal exams also there, very easy to pass if we are highly eager to study and done each and every practice. The semester is quite different, easy but needs regularity in class to attend ing.

Internships Opportunities :

Various international is there. On-campus and off-campus. The departmental internship is also there. Various internships under DRDO, iisc Banglore, ACBR, NCBR Delhi, IGIB Delhi, Delhi university campus and in private companies for minimum 1 months with or without stipends. A major focus of the internship is research and articles writing for a good publication. Various job oriented internship also there done by students of food tech and polymers.

Placement Experience :

As I mentioned before it's a graduation college, but still various companies like reliance, jawa, amazon, HCl visited regularly for placement. Gives 10 lakh per annum package maximum. Nearly 10% of students go for placement because most of the students go for gehre masters.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees is quite average as for biomedical sciences and computer science it's nearly 50k for 3 yrs and for others it's about 20k for all the 3yrs course. Various fees concession like north east quota, single girl child, sports quota, pwd quota are there. Campus placement also there as several companies like HCl, Amazon, Reliance, sun pharma regularly participates in placement tour and it gives interested package of about 10-12 lakhs annum which is highly recommended as a bachelor degree.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is Srijan. Various department fest also there. Fresher party and annual farewell also there. Well furnished library with all the books and journals, easily availability of books for the issue and general study inside the library. Well furnished classrooms with proper lights and ventilation and projector screen within it. Famous for sports activities and various intercollegiate competition and interdepartmental competition also there. Various groups under ECA are like music club, dance club, poetry club, NSS club, tech club are there include eco-club.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always excelled in mathematics in school. So, i decided to pursue it for higher studies. You should only choose this course if you want to make a career in mathematics field for example if you want to become a mathematics professor, go into research, become a data scientist or clear exams like JAM, NET, JRF. They do teach softwares like R which is very important but they should include more technologies and coding languages into the course as well. Special mention: if you want to pursue a career in data science i wouldn't recommend this course. I think a computer major would be more helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested in studying chemistry since school so I opted for this course. The course is well built and designed in order to build your interest in this field. The college provides enough industrial visits to encourage you in the same field and organises sufficient conferences regarding the same. There are no such improvements required in the faculty except a few. Exams used to happen semester wise after every 5 months. We only used to prepare for these, only a few teachers asked us to solve an assignment and nothing much.

In my opinion my course syllabus is good and better then some of the other courses. This course helps and prepares students for the real world application as it is a practical course and have all the industrial related topics in it. In my opinion the college should offer more industrial vists for the students. The difficulty level of exams is Average.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I gave Entrance and I qualified and I have no option other than this course. Our Faculty is a mixture, as we have to study Physics Chemistry and Mathematics so we have three 3 departments. Student teacher ratio is 10:1. All teachers are PhD Professor. they wrote many books also, their teaching is according to UGC syllabus. they provide notes. There is Semester exam after 6 months and one test in one month of each subject. You have to prepare your notes in a very well way to obtain good marks.
