Remarks :
Overall experience was good but due to non compulsory attendance of the students, students used to bunk classes and when students are less then even lecturers lost interest in the classes.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Altogether it is a three years of course which have 18 subjects which is completely based on commercial real estate services in India, knowledge about economy, banking and industrial laws, budgetary system etc. A group of six subjects taught each year and have yearly exams for all the subjects.
Placement Experience :
No, University of allahabad do not conduct placement and internship programmes. Courses in this institution is only for learning.
College Events :
My college celebrate freshers and farewell party every year whose management is done by the students of 2nd year. 1st year and 3 year students are guest as they are freshers and finalize students. Other than this, there is an election which is held every year in a very large basis to elect leaders of an institution.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee Structure of the institution is very feasible as it takes approximately 80% less fees as compared to other institutions of the same course. Overall fees of the course for three years is less than 3000 rupees. In addition, At the time of admission, 500 rupees is paid for the entrance form as a registration fee.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
College offers scholarship opportunities to students of low family income and minority category students But i haven't availed any scholarship because my family income is more than the prescribed limit.
Campus Life :
There were equal ratio of boys and girls because students were chosen according to the cutoff marks only. Due to large number of students, our classes were divided into different section and even different shifts. Extracurricular activities were less due to political nature of the institution. Each and every person is involved in studies and politics only (wholly or partially).
Alumni/Alumna :
Our seniors were very helpful and kind to us especially super seniors. Alumni were nice to each other.
Admission :
I opted for this course because I want to be a bank PO and University of Allahabad was ranked under top 100 universities of India so that's why I chose this institution.University take entrance exams(offline and online mode) every year in the month of may to get freshers on the cut off basis. We have to enroll ourselves for the entrance exam by filling up a form of 500 rupees(registration fees) available at the website.
Faculty :
There were approximately 20 to 25 lecturers in my course. Due to large number of students in a single course, we were divided in different sections and every section has different teacher for the same subject ( few were common). Most of the lecturers are aged between 50 to 60 who are likely to get retirement but they have a bulk of knowledge and experience because they are highly qualified. And few lecturers was newly added scholars of the institution who don't have that much experience but they found new and easier techniques of learning and teaching.
