Student's Review On Naipunnya Institute Of Management And Information Technology - [NIMIT], Thrissur

Remarks :

The college is run by Priests. A vast college and a wonderful atmosphere with pets and also a lot of greenery. Any person will love the college completely in a single visit. During the admission, they explained clearly what all are their processes and eligibility so i can choose the right course.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college is affiliated to Calicut University and the curriculum is up to date and the course updated very recently. We were also taken to an industry in the final year of our course as part of an Industrial visit and to understand how the industry works.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes i did an internship during my course at a Business Consultancy Firm and i get into the internship privately without the help of the college.

Placement Experience :

There were a lot of companies who came in for placements and also they conduct pool drives every year to help the students. The process was so easy and comfortable to find the right job for you. More companies were based from the Hotel industries because the college provides a world class course on hotel management.

College Events :

The management had put in a lot of efforts to build in many clubs so the students can actively participate and be part of many extracurricular activity. The priests are a bit strict but that's a very good aspect to shape our future.

Campus Life :

The college also offer sport quota seats and gives a lot of importance to sports. The campus is Jio Wi-Fi enabled and has all the equipment student needs at a college with a vast library, football court, basket ball court and much more.

Hostel Facilities :

Never opt for the hostel provided by the College. The warden is really a pain for the children and also rules are weirdly strict. Apart from that the rooms and accessibility is quite good. So chose wisely.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the campus placements in the 6th semester. The average students getting placed in the mechanical department are about 30%. My plan after completing my mechanical engineering degree is to go for masters in business administration

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum contains a vast area of nursing aspects and they include OSKI as a new component of the nursing curriculum which prepares as well enough to face the job interviews ahead. But the time limit is so short that we find it difficult to complete the syllabus on time. As the syallabus has changed to semester system we are expected to write exams more frequently but that is good as it helps as to improve our writing skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Architecture is a tough and time taking course, the syllabus fine in the first three years but later on it becomes hectic. Maybe the syllabus can be reduced and I feel that five years is too long for architecture degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course mainly because of the job opportunities. There is plenty of teaching and non-teaching staff in the college. All the teaching staff has Mastered nursing and all are very talented teachers. The teaching method is lecturing and av aids are also used by the teachers like projectors. The exams are conducted after the completion of each unit. It's an average tough exam to score good marks. The only problem is that exams will be conducted daily and the personal behavior of some staff may vary from person to person.

Placement Experience:

No campus placement is provided by college because it is a government college. After getting degree I planned to practice in Kerala high court and also wants to attempt judicial service examination. I also planned to join LLM at central University or in Canada. In Canada there are many opportunities for LLB graduates.
