Remarks :

Best hospitality institution so far as it gave best placement not only in the country as well as aboard. Practical classes are taken throughly and students are guided properly. Student can also go to Aboard for internship after graduation for specific years or month as per the criteria.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Yes the courses of the syllabus is upto date every year and we have a great exposure. The faculties guided us in a very well trained and professional way so that we can learn as much as we are capable

Placement Experience :

It is 100% placement and there is campus interview for the 3rd year or 6th sem students where the renowned Hotel Industry select the hotelier they want in the specific course or line they have choosen.

College Events :

IIHM every year host the YOUNG CHEF OLYMPIAD which gather 50 different countries all over the world and held RIGOLO fest and food fest during winter and spring. And take part in different inter college sports and musical fest inside and outside the state

Placement Experience:

Many more placements are available after completion of the 8th semester. Many reputable companies are taken interviews for final year students like - CIPLA, Mefopharm, Macleods, Pfizer, Alkem for production, QA, QC department. Nestle, Tablet India are taken interviews for medical representatives. Wipro, Cognizant is taken an interview for the pharmacovigilance department.

Hardship ends someday after Placements.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placement after the 6th semester onwards.A total of 98 companies visited our college out of which they offered 120 offers and 86 students applied for placements out of which 78 are selected in the CSE branch. The selection was 90 percent. Average pay was 4-5LPA and the highest was 25LPA CTC in India. After getting my degree i planned for higher studies and placement in a MNC.

ItÕs one of the oldest Bschools in Kolkata. I love the infrastructure of the college. ItÕs known for its faculties and placement. IÕve known a lot of students from this college. I visited the college and the people were really professional and helpful.

For eligibility in this course a student must be passed in 10+2 in any stream from WBCHSE/ CBSE/ISC with minimum of 45%

It's a part of course curriculum to do a practical training once with the help of Dept. of Tourism Govt. of West Bengal. Which basically to prepare us for great jobs. Further the placement cell itself also helps us a lot practically to prepare us for training for placements and provides career guidence to us.

Remarks:

Nothing is perfect in the whole universe. There were loopholes in the college administration and there were a few, not-so-good guys, who did mistreat with students but thanks to the higher authorities, those were never a permanent issue.
