Remarks :

Wanted to become a Wine waiter or Sommelier as I wanted to study the chapters of wine very deeply and make my career in it and then I got to know about the coarse of hotel management and since I heard and studied some where that this is one of the best hotel management college so I took admisson.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculum, academics and facilities are Very good to average. It belongs from person to person.Canteens in building 101. In the main student canteen in building 101 you can get a hot meal, sandwiches, salads etc.Additional canteens and cafÃ©s.Polyteknisk Boghandel.DTU Skylab in building 373.Laboratories.Nanoteket.Cash point machine.

Placement Experience :

The college has a very well procedure for placements as almost all students clear the job interviews as we all are taught almost everyday in the college as soon as we enter 3rd year that how we have to clear the interviews and even we get some study materials to study. All popular brands come to offer jobs to us like Hilton, Hyat, Marriott, Taj, Oberoi and many more.

College Events :

There was a problem with this college which was there was more cultural events than studies. Always throughout the year there was fests, events, etc which hampered the studies of students. Anyways it was good also as we all enjoyed and it helped us to develop ourself's.

Placement Experience:

Many more placements are available after completion of the 8th semester. Many reputable companies are taken interviews for final year students like - CIPLA, Mefopharm, Macleods, Pfizer, Alkem for production, QA, QC department. Nestle, Tablet India are taken interviews for medical representatives. Wipro, Cognizant is taken an interview for the pharmacovigilance department.

Hardship ends someday after Placements.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placement after the 6th semester onwards.A total of 98 companies visited our college out of which they offered 120 offers and 86 students applied for placements out of which 78 are selected in the CSE branch. The selection was 90 percent. Average pay was 4-5LPA and the highest was 25LPA CTC in India. After getting my degree i planned for higher studies and placement in a MNC.

It's a part of course curriculum to do a practical training once with the help of Dept. of Tourism Govt. of West Bengal. Which basically to prepare us for great jobs. Remarks:

Nothing is perfect in the whole universe. There were loopholes in the college administration and there were a few, not-so-good guys, who did mistreat with students but thanks to the higher authorities, those were never a permanent issue.
