Remarks

I choosed KJC because of several reasons. For its tuition fees which is minimal and affordable. And for its countless opportunities in different fields. As a fact, I wanted to pursue psychology and literature both but unfortunately in Bangalore, all other colleges, the seats were full for these courses. But luckily KJC were the only last option where it had these subjects and I'm glad about it. The thing I liked the most about this college is the energetic vibe I'm getting. It is amazing.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus which I took is pretty much updated. To be honest. Well infact I did not get much industrial exposure.The faculties here are so good and kind.For me, the HUMANITIES department is the best one that standout.

Placement Experience

The placements comes every year in our college and company's that are coming are well reputed and established ones. Like TATA consultancy, asianpaints to name a few Etc. Almost 500 around something, students get placed in jobs and the salaries is quite affordable.

College Events

The campus life is so enjoyable and happy about it. The college gives you a variety of festivals from its technical, cultural and management aspects. For me, the cultural festival is a huge bang on.showcasing different cultures of india into one platform. technical and management is also good though. And the number of participants is so big and you couldn't even imagine.

Heartfelt words to my beloved college!!

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was clear about choosing this stream as after 12th mind was fixed for preparing UPSC-CSE. So curriculum i had was exactly same which u needed!. Geography is very interesting subject and it further broadened my knowledge after i choosed the subject. We needed to write exam twice a year as many of us know it was a semester based. Question papers were of moderate difficulty and competent enough.

Placement Experience:

Placements are given in our college for a lot of departments. A senior of ours got placed into Reuters with a very high placement. In the last year, that is the 4th year, you get eligible for campus placement. After I get my degree in History, I will pursue my master's in history from Christ University only or from a foreign college belonging to the Ivy league. After that, I will pursue my PhD in history and also give the Civil Services Examination.

Placement Experience:

For my exact department, campus placements for undergraduate students isn't great, but thats a concern for any college in Media Studies. Companies like Accenture and Bosch do come for roles like HR or Corporate Communications though, and with how the University teaches, employability is pretty high off campus, with students using their network built during their internships done in their earlier years to land a job. Starting salaries vary depending on the role and company, but start from around 3-4 LPA. Im currently into UI/UX, looking for an internship so I can start working once i graduate.

I didn't actually choose this college. My plan was to go to a government college. But I just applied here and wished to get selected and I did. The admission process is fully online, from interview to paying fees. The eligibility is getting a percentage above 60 and no exams are required. You just need to attend the interview on the date asked by the college and they will ask you few questions, and after few days you will get selected based on the interview.
