Remarks :
Being interested in food technology course which is comparatively new course and in few Colleges, it drove me to take admission in Lady Irwin College. Among four food technology colleges in delhi university, this college is best and reputed in comparison to other colleges. It is renowned food technology college which has a good brand name as felt upon in my two years of study in the college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course syllabus is relevant. We are not provided industrial exposure. Industrial exposure is provided by the internships or industrial visit which we have to arrange on our own. Faculty is overall good.
Internships Opportunities :
Campus ambassador internship at Techfest, IIT Bombay. Stipend based on performance.
Placement Experience :
Placements are low or nill. Job opportunities are low after graduating out from college. One needs to take up higher studies for better placements and job opportunities. Alumni network is quite good of the college.
College Events :
Campus Life is mesmerizing. We take part in various extracurricular activities. Being part of college societies we volunteer in various programmes and fest. Lady Irwin fest is one of best fests in delhi university. Lot of students come from within and outside campus to take parts in competitions and programs.
Campus Life :
Campus infrastructure is old college building which requires much renovation. Facilities are available but need to be renovated and added up. Labs equipments are added up continuosly for food tech as it was shortage for it.
