Remarks :

I'm passed grade 12th from humanities. There were a number of options available for me, but I was very specific about psychology honours. Gautam Buddha University is one of the best when it comes to psychology. It is a government university and has numerous activities and facilities for students. The faculty for psychology really helps you understand the subject and eventually fall in love with it. One cannot overlook the fact that the entire psychology study can be done at this university. Right from bachelors to PhD. The minimal fee and the single room hostel facility got my attention the most. I highly recommend this university for all students since the campus has almost every course, starting from MBBS to law.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The syllabus is absolutely updated. Our university follows the DU curriculum. The academics are also good. The faculty is always available and responsive. We have interships as a part of the curriculum right from bachelors 2nd year. We are given the freedom to look for the internship on our own or the government hospitals are allotted to everyone.

Placement Experience :

Placements are good, but in my course to be particular, advance level study is required in order to get a job. MPhil level study and a licence will get you a good job very easily. Alumnus from my course are either doing higher education or preparing for GRE.

College Events :

A lot of extra curricular activities were cancelled due to the pandemic. But quite a few happened when I was there. There is an annual sports meet, a cultural event named abhivangana, a winter and summer DJ night, a food fest and occasion based parties like Christmas party, holi party etc.

Campus Life :

The infrastructure is one of the best parts about the university. It is a hugeeeeee campus. It has an indoor and an outdoor sports facility. Sports like football, cricket, badminton, chess, tennis are available. There is a 24X7 study room available for students. There also is a fully air conditioned library which has 3 floors. WiFi is available in the entire campus. The labs have specialised equipments that help in better understanding. There is a meditation centre, a shopping complex and 5 extremely huge auditoriums all inside the campus gates.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is one of the most loved parts of college life. Gautam Buddha University makes it better. Hostel is compulsory for all. The mess charges and hostel fee has to be paid, irrespective of whether you're staying there or not. There are 13 boys hostel and 6 girls hostel within campus. There are security measures that instruct students to be back in the hostel by 7pm. Inside the girls hostel, there are 3 mess areas, a basketball ground, several badminton courts and lots of gardens and greenery. All the hostels have 3-4 floors. Each student is allotted a single room, which I personally love. The rooms have a balcony attached to it. The washrooms are on both ends of the floor. Cleaning is done everyday in the morning and evening. The caretakers are always alert and available. There is an induction room and a gym in each hostel. It just can't get any better.

Placement Experience:

Placement of the college is decent highest package was 30 lac per annum and average is 6-7 lac per annum....From 6th semester u are eligible for the campus placements.... companies that visited are- IBM, TCS,etc I just don't remember now there are many... percent of students getting placements are near about 80% i guess

Placement Experience:

The placement is very good in my college. From the 7th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Mahindra etc do visit my college. The highest package is 16 lacs per annum and the average package is 4 lacs per annum. 95 % of students of the batch get placement every year. My plan is to get a placement in a product-based company after completing my degree.

Admission process was very simple. admission councellor was very helpfull. the online degree has same credibility as offline one. got admission on 3 july and was given course access on 27 july recieved books on 6 august very good book quality. job fair after every semester. time flexible course perfect for working and studying at the same time. the teacher's could be better but not a big issue as self study is sufficient for my course.

Admission:

there was no group discussion, interview, or written test for the admission. admission was based simply on basis of 12 class percentage. if you dont have your marksheet at the time of applying like me then you can sign a undertaking and they will grant you admission.

I've fill the online application for the admission then I got for the entrance examination afterwards councelling session is conducted and I've got addmission in the MBA. Application form is out in the month of june and July and the exams is conducted on August.
