Remarks :

Dsce is one of the top rated engineering colleges in bangalore, with a great infrastructure and quality education. It gives you a homely feeling. This college gives you a lot of opportunities in both education and co curricular activities. The campus is beautiful. I believe that my course offers me great knowledge and opportunities overall. It is situated in a very convenient area.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I feel that my course provides us a wide range of knowledge with great quality. The curriculum is great, always updated according to what's more important with regard to the world. Faculty is really good and helpful.

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 960000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I have opted for an online internship and also doing an online course of python from udemy.

Placement Experience :

A lot of well known companies visit our campus and recruite a lot of students. The placement percentage is 85. Companies like Amazon, Accenture, etc. come to the campus. The placement process is pretty good and the authorities responsible for placement process really help the students understand the process.

College Events :

Cultural events of our college is just amazing. Full of fun and talent. Gives an opportunity to every student. We have a lot of cultural teams based on different activities. Whether it's dancing, singing, drama photography, management, art emcee or anything else. Our college conducts a huge and well known inter college fest called furore. And a major intra college fest called vibrations. And many more small inra college fests. I am a part of one of the dance teams, and I have had a wonderful experience so far. I have participated in a lot of fests.

Campus Life :

Campus infrastructure is great, has a huge auditorium, has good wifi, sports facility is great. Huge ground for sports available, also a basketball court. Library has a great variety of books, digital library is great. Library is large. Laboratories have good equipments. The quality is good. Labs are big.

A Brief Review of My College (New Horizon College of Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Experience at new horizon.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Life in DSU

Course Curriculum Overview:

I didn't choose this course for any specific reason. My brother is a doctor and he told me this is a nice field. So I was like why not. Each year is set specifically that one needs knowledge from the previous year to understand what's going on now. Exams are not very difficult as in if you have a basic idea from the beginning about what is going on, you can study in the end and pass easily. This is strictly my experience.
