Remarks :
Pressure from parents is why I joined this college else would be in NIT. But even so, the infrastructure was good enough. The course I chose was purely based on job opportunities in that field even though I did not end up getting into a desired position.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum and academics were manageable, after all this is india and that's just how it is here. Faculty were sub par. We very lucky if we had one good member to teach us a subject. There were a couple of teachers per semester, Mr. Manu, Mr. Kiran, Mr. Bijesh, Mrs. Saritha, Mrs. Asmin answer, Mrs. Sreelekshmi, Mrs. Lekshmi - They taught different subjects throughout the course of engineering.
Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are very limited unless you are interested in the IT sector. Major recruitment company is TCS. Small IT companies are also omnipresent. No other major stream based companies have conducted any interviews that I know of. Would not like to point out successful alumni because they made it own their own and not with any help from the college management.
College Events :
The extracurricular activities such as the college fest and other technical fests are what kept us going throughout the years spent there. In terms of size it was always launched as a big event but due to the location of the college there wasn't much of an interest /involvement from other colleges.
Campus Life :
If anything was good about the college it would be the infrastructure. Sure there was no wifi but the lab equipments and the sports facilities were top notch. The library was also one of a kind having an extra floor of space utilized as a engineering graphics class or as an exam hall.
