Remarks

If you are looking for descent engineering college with minimum fees and maximum facilities you can surely join this institution. This is child institution of Vivekananda Vidyavardaka Sangha. I have studied under this institutions for 10 years and I don't have any regretting moments .

Entrance Preview

I got 7500+ ranking in Karnataka CET. This is one of the best colleges in the Mangalore region with good teaching faculty and accommodation facilities.

Internships Opportunities

Internship was not a part of curricular when I was the student.

Placement Experience

Placements is average. Around 25% of the batch got placed in companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, UST global, Indian Army, Accord, Greenprint Technologies, HP, Emphasis, IBM, Cadense etc. The offer was almost same in all companies, it was around 2.5lpa to 3.5lpa

College Events

There will be national level paper presentation competition every year called "Jnana Sangama".Also they have annual year celebration and many other cultural and sports activities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Many university, government and other endowment scholarships. No special loan facility but you can go for bank loans.

Campus Life

Gender ratio is almost 50:50. Very good environment with all the requirements you wish to have in your college life. Good encouragement for sports, they have a very big play ground, sports equipments. You can participate in many extracurricular activities without effecting your studies, you will get all the support from the staff and management.

Hostel Facilities

Very good hostel facility for both Men and women. Good vegetarian food.Annually the fees comes around 50, 000 which is reasonable. The rooms are 3 shared. I will rate overall hostel 8 out of 10.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors interactions was very good in and outside the college. All are connected through social network groups. During placements we had special discussions with the alumni in the college. Every year they will arrange an alumni meet.

4 Placement Experience:

From the 7 th semester students can get eligible for placement and internship from the any semester if you become capable. Companies like Google, microsoft, dell,capezimi comes in our college and make offers around 1000 every years. Around 80% students are getting placed in our cse department. My plan is to take placement from this college on a higher note.

My Honest Review of My College

Placement Experience:

- The students become eligible for placements from the 6th sem itself. - There are lot of companies ranging from Samsung to Infosis to TCS which provide a package ranging from 4LPA to 34LPA. - Highest Package (This year): 34LPA and Lowest is 4LPA. - Students placement stats: Around 80% students get placed - My plan is to get into a good Product Based Company after my degree.

placements of pesu campus is really good thus securing us the spot of top 3 colleges in karnatake, apple and ibm also hire from pesu which is very hard to find in india colleges. highest cse package in 2025 is around 54 lakhs and average is around 12 lakhs. percentage of students getting place is comparetively low with around 60%,my plans after getting degree are to hopefully to be placed in campus placements

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . Out of 400 students only 150 were placed and few still didn't receive their offer letters yet. I didnt get placed so it was very hard for me to get a job. When the placements started the whole world was going on recession that had very bad impact on us.

Placement Experience:

There is college placements in here. The students studying in 7th semester are eligible for campus placements. They should also not be having any backlogs. There are various companies that visit our college. Some of them are Infosys, Wipro, L and T, TCS, Anventure etc. On an average around 70% to 80% students get placed who are eligible for placements. I actually plan on joining a IT company for a reasonable salary just for experience purpose. And then pursue higher studies

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.

We can prefer 3 colleges I have applied for only one college and I got seat in same college. The reason to choose this college is it provides good educational facilities. The fees are less when compared to other college. And also not far away distance from my Native place. After completion of 12th with minimum 80% marks, also obtained good rank in Common Entrance Text. I got seat in the same expected college. The elegibilty critera also include age limit whch should be below 25 years during the time of admission. Let me explain Admission process in our college: We have to register for the Entrance exam and aplication form need to be filled. Then next step is entrance xam on scheduled date. After exam, result will be declared. Conseling were conducted to select peferred college and branches based on rank. Seats are alloted and admissions are confirmed by paying fees.
