Remarks :

A very good college and very co-operative staff. Always helped me during the college term. Even now, if I receive someone's call regarding any work of the College, I call at the college, and the work is done. Thanks to the College as always.

Course Curriculum Overview :

As per my observation, the Course Curriculum was Fair. The entire year was divided into 2 Unit Exams. These were only to assess the Student's growth towards education and self assessment of the child. After the result of the Unit Exams were announced, a Parents-Teacher Meeting was conducted to sharethe progress of the child with them. Currently, I am a Tax Practitioner practicing in Wardha. This Profession truly needs high and accurate knowledge of Accounts, which I learnt here. I attended regular Periods and all Classes for full time for the whole 2 years i. e. 11th and 12th, the result of which is today. I am very very satisfied.

Placement Experience :

I would not be able to answer this perfectly. Probably any MBA Student would give a perfect answer. But, I used to hear Companies like Bajaj Auto, TCS and Infosys used to visit the college for campus Selection.

College Events :

Almost all events used to be celebrated in my College. I still go to the College on 26th of January and 15th of August every year for the Flag Hoisting Ceremony. It gives joy in meeting few professors as many are now retired and are unable to be met. One memorable event which is held on 10th and 11th of January every year is " Lt. Jamnalal Bajaj Smriti Vyakhyan". In this students from all over India used to participate with their presentations. Really, a superb one.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Yes, the Fees were very feasible. They used to accept Cash or Cheque. No additional fees had to be paid in order to secure the admission, as done in many colleges. Regarding transparency, I would like to tell that the College Staff were very co-operative and used to hand over the Fee Receipt immediately with full breakup.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As I belong to Open Category, I was not entitled to avail any sort of Scholarships. But some of my friends used this facility. They used to say that it was very easy. The documents required were also very much easy to be availed.

Campus Life :

Whatever I write about my campus life is less. It was very joyful. Study along with exercises and games was a complete package to enjoy education with sports. Gender ratio was a little higher towards girls. Diversity was never an issue. All castes were given priority according to the merit and cut-off list.

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network and senior students are always a boosting experience. Whenever I face any problem, I consult them. I have a solution very fast.

Admission :

On having passed my Tenth Standard, I had already decided to go for Commerce Stream. So, as soon as I obtained the Marksheet, I rushed to G. S. College of Commerce which is located in Jamnalal Bajaj Marg, Wardha. The College had a high reputation of producing genuises and scholars. The College followed a system of Cut off List at our times. I approached the College tentatively on 14th of May, 2004 to take admission to 11th Standard in English Medium.

Faculty :

There used to be 6 periods of 45 minutes each. The Faculty was for too much experienced holding P. hd in various subjects. I still remember Prof. Bele, Prof Chauhan, Prof. Mansuri. Prof. Kishore Sanap and everyone. The average age of the Professors was around 35-40 years. They used to use the Books and Study material lesser and used their own teaching skills. Many of the Teachers were Certified in their fields and also used to speak as guest lectures in local and outstation programmes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As every Diploma passing student enters to degree college same process I went through. The faculty of the college are well educated and hardworking. As a student, you have to reach out to your faculty and maintain a good relation with them to get constant support from them. the ratio is 25:1. The teaching method of professors is very professional. Exams are as per the government regulations and the difficulty level is moderate for general students.

Remarks:

I love my college as the way it is, wouldn't change it for anything in the world.

Admission:

I was earlier classed into the pool of NRI students as I had completed my 10th and 12th graduation from abroad. I however did not want to register as an NRI student and wrote the MH-CET which is the state entrance exam and the field under which I chose it was engineering. I managed to attain a good rank and get admission into my required branch and field at Symbiosis Institute of Technology. I attempted the MH-CET exam some time around the beginning of May. I chose the course of Electronics and Telecommunication as it particularly interested me and the main interest in Symbiosis was generated through the fact that one of my cousins had studied there and overall I had heard a lot about Symbiosis especially in the Pune circle. The steps required in this process were i) Application through the Symbiosis Admission Portal ii) Attachment of all relevant documents for verification iii) A counselling session in which all the ranked candidates where invited and offered seats iv) A final verification and admission confirmation

Admission process was through DTE. CAP rounds were scheduled before which we have to fill our all details and get it verified at ARC centre with original documents. Then fill the option form, and wait for the results. I got selected in cap round after which I confirmed my admission at the college.
