Remarks :
Government college, one if the oldest engineering college of Uttrakhand in perfect serenity and the fees was too low. But now the fees is increased so one has to make in mind while coming to college and it's in remote place so plan accordingly. Now the fees is just doubled so consider this fact too.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are not up to the mark, only few are good rest all cutting their time. Curriculum activities are too low only two fest in a year and too budget is too low and sometimes it too gets cancelled. Students are good as you will find some very good students so healthy environment of competition.
Placement Experience :
Placement facilities for cs are good they have 70% placement is being done but for rest either no companies or 1comoany that too 1-2seats for among 60 student batch. So if one plan is too go for job and is not thinking of opting for CS then this college is 100% wrong choice.
College Events :
Technical it was average. Extracurricular was too average, academics wise in student behalf is good as one has to study most of things themselves can't depend on teachers for that. No festivals are being held in college a some ok ok fest are being organized by students but in low key.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
5000 rupees if you compe within 10% of students annually on academic wise. One scholarship that is being run is by Iffa that's for the students who have rank below 1lakh and are un that college they receive every year 30,000 rupees scholarship. One more scholarship is for obc students and Uttrakhand gov pays annually 40,000.
Campus Life :
Wifi speed is a descent. A big issue if network as it's on hills so on some hostels some networks work and on some other. 0 sports facilities, library size is good but only academics books can be found that too is too less in comparison to no of students. In labs most of the machines work and some don't.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is compulsory for girls. But boys can accommodate outside of campus too and you can live their either in rent or ine hotel cum pg is being opened where boys can stay and pay accordingly. If meals are included then price for a month is min 6000.
