Entrance Preview :
CIFL TEST, The admission is purely based on entrance test of the university. Doesn't require Previous degree marks. After short list the candidates they called the mini interview and certificate verification. Admission is confirmed after certificate verification.
Internships Opportunities :
i did the internship in hyderabad central university .Really enjoyed a lot at the time of internship. I learned so many things in my internship and I met new friends in that university. Generally I got the stipend 5000/- per month.
Placement Experience :
In my compus i didn't find any placements related to MCL because it is new course in this university. May be they invite the companies in next year.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure is very feasible.Total Fee at the beginning of the course (semester I) is 2685 and Fee to be paid in semesters II and VI is 1485.Total Fee to be paid in semesters III is 1885.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I am getting ugc stipend 1000 per month and book allowances, tuition fee etc. I didn't take any student loans. In my university they providing only ugc scholarships and state government scholarships to the poor students.
Campus Life :
Everything is super except some teaching faculty like who teaches a programming skills. Sports facilities are super and Medical facilities are weak. And our student panel is very strong we are always protest against VC for students issues and technical issues.Here I didn't find any religious issues but I found discrimination in states.
Alumni/Alumna :
I don't had any experience with alumni students. Our seniors were very good they are always encouraged in learning new things and getting opportunities. They suggest us so many companies and universities to get internship opportunities. We are also encouraging my juniors in same way.
Exam Structure :
Computational Linguistics is a two year post graduate programme with four semesters. A total of 80 credits have to be earned by the end of four semesters, with a minimum of 20 credits to be earned by the end of each semester.
Faculty :
It is technical course but in my university all are linguistics professors. Computational linguistics means computer science+linguistics. Here I am not finding any computer science professors all are weak in this area. Labs and everything ok good infrastructure.
