Remarks

Governmernt Vellore Medical College has offered me the reasonable fee structure with specialized courses for one's development in the field of medicine. The curriculum i opted for had a group of excellent faculty members who always guided us in our career path.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was a five year curriculum with multiple activities and practical classes along with researches. Our faculties were well experienced in their field and also had depth understanding which helped us learn beyond our syllabus.

Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement was average and during my year 70% of the class population were placed in good hospitals and clinics. I was offered internship program from college with a stipend amount of Rs.14,000 per month.

College Events

We celebrated most of the occasions in our campus with our faculty members, alongside we were also encouraged to participate in events and various study related projects. Various seminars and medical camps were organized by college authorities.

Campus Life

Our college offers medical services and also has its owns hospital within the campus. The hostel facility are provided to both males and females with other accommodations and facilities like water purifier, ultra modern gymnasium and two wheeler parking lot.

Admission

My admission was based on the marks obtained in the NEET UG , further i filled the online application form and paying Rs.1500/- for the same available in the official website of Governmernt Vellore Medical College.

Placement Experience:

The students start sitting for placement from 6th semester i.e the end of third year itself, while many students start getting job offers at the start of 7th semester itself. The placememt percentage here is very good it is around 90% amd the average placement for 2025 placement session is around 15.76 lakh or maybe higher since results are not made available to us ye, the highest offer is around 55lakh+ according to some fourth year students. The number of companies visiting us are many; they include tech giants such as google,microsoft,amazon, sony, samsung, NVIDIA, quolcomm, AMD, Yahoo and highliting companies are Ceat, Volvo, Wolkswagen, LT, Bosch, mcafee and the list goes on and on and on. i plan on getting a job and then going for higher studies in a foreign university.

Placement Experience:

Students sit for placements from the seventh semester. The Best Place to Study MSc Medical Laboratory Technology

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course based on the content of the University curriculum which was strongly followed by the institution. All the departments follow the University syllabus both theory and practicals. The maximum number of students for the MSc course is 10 but we were 2 in my class and the faculties ( 10 faculties in Biochemistry, 12 faculties in Microbiology, 8 in Hematology and 6 in Pathology, 4 in Genetics (part of Hematology and Pathology) and 2 in Epidemiology and Biostatistics) as of our time in both theory and practicals. In addition, there are many laboratory postings where you learn even more. There were atleast 5 Professors, 9 Associate Professors/Assistant Professors, 7 PhDs that directly taught us. The University exams come on October 15th of each year, there are 3 Internal assessments and 1 model exam. If you go through the internal assessment and the model exam, the University exam will not be difficult for you.

Good institution and we'll teaching staffs with highly modern lab lab postings alloted are good and well trained staffs taking class and few Dr also takes class for some subjects. Good discipline and manners are taught
