Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum has many aims. The course aims to create a strong foundation for the concepts in wildlife science and practice. It enables the participants of the course to understand the concepts and issues related to managing wildlife.
Placement Experience :
Employers from international, national and private organisations in the field of heritage conservation and management employ students from WII. The Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) cell at WII provides placement opportunities to students pursuing courses at institutions outside of WII.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure for the PG Diploma course in Advanced Wildlife Management is bit expensive. The fees for the Indian participants is around INR 11 lakhs. The expenses include boarding and lodging for the entire course duration and many other expenses.
Campus Life :
Wildlife Institute of India has a huge playground and floodlit basketball, tennis and badminton courts. The students and faculty extensively use the long nature trail around the artificial lake for jogging and walking purposes. Every year an Annual All India Forest Sports Meet is held where all the faculties, researchers and staff take part.
Admission :
The procedure for admission to this course is by filling up the CV along with the passport details in the application form and sending it to the institute with the endorsement of the competent authority. Then, the forest department nominates the eligible forest officers.

The faculty team is extremely qualified and they constantly strive in order to help WII get recognised as a centre of excellence for Wildlife Conservation on a national and international scale. The pedagogy followed by them is highly interactive in nature.
