Top medical colleges of Bangalore

Remarks :

A well organized curriculum with fine quality infrastructure, NIMHANS is an Institute that provides admissions for many medical courses. The Institute will benefit the student with their connections with well functioning hospitals for internships and placement.

Course Curriculum Overview :

While preparing for the entrance exam only I realized that after getting admission, the curriculum would not be a cake walk and sure enough I was right. The syllabus of my course was very exhausting, I had to make sure to study on regular basis to be able to just cover my syllabus before exams otherwise, a student can struggle if they don't. Placement Experience :

Internship and placement are both given importance in the college. The placement of students is of good numbers and internship opportunities are available in both public and private hospitals. The package given to the students go on an average of Rs. 25000 per month.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The annual fees for any M. Phil course is Rs. 17,800/- which is an easily manageable amount. Medical courses extract a lot of money from family incomes because of high maintenance and facility requirement. Keeping all these factors in minds, the fees is low and feasible.

Campus Life :

The extra curricular activities are inclusive of seminars, guest lecture and few workshops. The guest lecture welcomed the alumnis that graduated from the college and would share their experience after passing out.

Admission :

The number of seats for my course were limited so, I had to take up coaching classes to make sure that I have scope of getting admission in the Institute. The procedure is on based on Entrance Exam which is very competitive so, it is important to study well.

Faculty :

The faculty is consisting of doctors. A special mention for Dr. Poornima Bhola who was near perfect in explaining the approach towards the practical practices under my course. She knew her work well and made sure that the students also did so.

Also, this college is known foe=r the kind of education they provide. Thus, according to me it was the best combination.

Placement Experience:

Here, not many companies come, thus open campus after the undergraduation is suggested. The resume of each student is eligible for the company wanting the fresher.

Admission:

I got admission in my program of choice by appearing for an entrance exam. It was required to at least score 50% and above in physics, chemistry, biology and english. Previous marks were also observed and evaluated.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is up to date and includes everything that every MBBS student needs to know. The curriculum is long but includes a mix of practical knowledge too. Exams were tough but easy if you studied.
