Remarks :
I found the college really helpful for me and not just my course, the other courses and streams in the college provide excellent education. It is one of the best institutes in India that provide Marine education. I had the time of my life in the college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum of the certification course in Marine engineer officer is not very vast . it is quite easy and basic. A little bit of attention is required in the classroom. Maximum a far study is practicality based. The period of the certification course is 6 months.
Placement Experience :
The institute provides on campus placement. Many companies visit the campus and almost all the students to sit for placement get recruited with some or the other company. The placement cell is very responsible.
College Events :
We have annual day, sports events and other cultural fests in the college. All the students and the professor indulge in them with great enthusiasm. National day such as Independence day and republic day are also celebrated on a large scale basis.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fees of the academy is a little bit expensive but completely worth the money. During my time, the fees for this particular certification course was 2,25,000 rupees. It included all the annual fees, tution fees and other miscellaneous fees.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
no such scholarships are provided by the college but yes the college helps with loan facilities. It provides all the necessary documentation that is required for a loan to get sanctioned by a bank. any student who wishes to study on education loan, can get it on its own risk through any bank.
Campus Life :
We used to have a lot of extra curricular activities like swimming training, gyming and various sports activities such as football, volleyball, tennis, badminton and many more. The also used to get training from guests who used to visit the college campus.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel of the college provides the rooms which look exactly like dormitories. 10 to 12 individuals recide in a room. The hostel provides good food and there is a lot of hygiene maintained in the hostel . rooms are cleaned on regular basis.
Admission :
I came to know about this college through its online portal and all the admission process was done online. I chose the certification course out of interest and decided to take admission here. I got selected on the basis of merit list followed by a short interview and this is how I got admission in the college.
Faculty :
The faculty is amazing. The way they teach you is so interesting that one will never get bored. Yeah, they are strict and a lot of discipline is required in front of them but they give that best when the teach us .
