My B.Tech journey

Course Curriculum Overview :

The duration of this course was four years. Each year, we had to give two semesters. In total we had to give eight semesters in the entire course. It was hectic sometimes to give so many exams. But there were a gap of six months before every semester, which was a relief.

Placement Experience :

Our college had organized nice placement programs for the students. Many reputed private companies had visited our college and offered us jobs. The salary was also quite satisfactory. Our professors had also helped us a lot in getting the best placements.

College Events :

The college had organized numerous events every year. We used to participate in many of the programs with great enthusiasm. Some of the programs were debate competitions, annual fest, annual function and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The college took the fees from us every year in increments. We had to pay 50,000 rupees as the tuition fees every year. My entire course fees was 2 lakh. It was on an expensive side but since we didn't need to pay it altogether, it was not much problem for me to pay the fees.

Campus Life :

Our computer labs and other laboratories were very well equipped and maintained with all the modern facilities that were required for the course. The college had also arranged sports tournaments every year. We used to participate in football, volleyball competitions.

Admission :

After completing my higher secondary examination with quite a good percentage, I had applied through online for this course in this college. My selection was through the KEAM entrance exam which was quite difficult to crack. But I was really glad that I could clear the entrance exam and got admission in this college.

Faculty :

All the professors of our department were highly qualified. They were very knowledgeable and competent. They had always focused on practical studies than theoretical works, which made our syllabus more interesting. The guest lecturers were also very good and they taught us really well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum contains a vast area of nursing aspects and they include OSKI as a new component of the nursing curriculum which prepares as well enough to face the job interviews ahead. But the time limit is so short that we find it difficult to complete the syllabus on time. As the syallabus has changed to semester system we are expected to write exams more frequently but that is good as it helps as to improve our writing skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Architecture is a tough and time taking course, the syllabus fine in the first three years but later on it becomes hectic. Maybe the syllabus can be reduced and I feel that five years is too long for architecture degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course mainly because of the job opportunities. There is plenty of teaching and non-teaching staff in the college. All the teaching staff has Mastered nursing and all are very talented teachers. The teaching method is lecturing and av aids are also used by the teachers like projectors. The exams are conducted after the completion of each unit. It's an average tough exam to score good marks. The only problem is that exams will be conducted daily and the personal behavior of some staff may vary from person to person.

No campus placement is provided by college because it is a government college. After getting degree I planned to practice in Kerala high court and also wants to attempt judicial service examination. I also planned to join LLM at central University or in Canada. In Canada there are many opportunities for LLB graduates.
