Modern College of Engineering Jhansi, Polytechnic, Civil Engineering

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was very well structured and was a perfect blend of practical and theoretical subjects. In the first two years we were taught subjects like Building const. & maintained engineering, engineering drawing, computer application engineering etc.

Placement Experience

3.5

There are plenty of job opportunities in this field. Very less placement opportunities were provided to us by the college. Only a few students were placed in good companies. The placement cell conducts various pre-placement talks every year and constantly work hard to make every student ready for the industry.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of our college is pretty decent. The total cost for the three year course is approx INR 1.13 lakhs. The yearly fee includes tuition fee and other fee of INR 30,000 and INR 7,000 respectively which adds up to INR 37,000 per year.

Campus Life

Plenty of activities like public speaking, debate and quiz competitions were organised every year by the cultural club of the college. There were many other clubs like sports club, literary club, dramatics society, NSS and NSS in our college. The college campus is really huge with many amenities like canteen, library, seminar hall, labs, classrooms etc .The research labs are well equipped with the latest technology.

Admission

I got admission here by clearing the JEECUP examination. The selection of candidates was done on the basis of merit in this exam. The minimum eligibility criteria for this college is 55% of marks in XII with physics, mathematics and chemistry as compulsory subjects .After the selection we were called to submit various documents at the college.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of the college was very well qualified and had the apt industrial experience. They always helped us in understanding the concepts really well. Proper workshops were also organised by our teachers to give us the best insight about the industrial needs.

The college is very good his infrastructure is very good. Faculty memebrs and teachers are very good in this during study they explain the topic in hindi and english both by giving a real life example. So student get understand easily.
In my college many department are there like startup department, play department sat specially in my college there is to much craze about startup so if any student want to start own startup so college will provide all the things and fundings also.
In our college there is research and patent department if you want to publish your research paper so this department will help you in this. And there is placement cell is there who help you to acchieve you a good placement in your course.

Dislikes

The one thing which i dislike that our college is very punchual about attendence. If your attendence is less than 75 percent so you will get detained and you will not get opportunity to give exam.

Placement Experience:

Placement is very good in this college. From 3rd year student gets placements. In our college there is placement cell us there who support you fromna first year and guide you that how to get a placement. And the average pacakage is gone 6 lpa and highest gone is 20 lpa. My plan is that after getting this degree doing mca from this college. About 80 percent of student get placement in this college. The company came TCS, WIPRO, HCL, Tech Mahindra etc.

“A Good College for Learning and Growth”

Likes

Being a CSE student I get the opportunity to learn about computer science and improve my skills The college experience also helps me understand the importance of practical knowledge

Dislikes

The placement support could be improved especially by providing more opportunities for students to get internships and jobs in reputed companies

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course covers important subjects related to computer science and programming. It gives basic technical knowledge, but more practical learning is needed. Exams are held every semester, along with internal tests and practicals. Some subjects are easy, while others need more preparation. Overall, the course is good, but adding more real-world projects would help students learn better.

What I love the most in my university is the muslim culture the way everyone respects their religion and other's too.

Placement Experience:

In my college the placement is over all managed by the centre for career guidance and development that is ccg and d. In my University basically the internship offer to only the pre final year students and placement for final year students. But the Average package is not so good it is around 3-4 LPA.
