Course Curriculum Overview :

The M.A. (English) course is rather a vast one and the curriculum of the same at this college tries to cover as much as possible along with providing a certain level of autonomy to the students to read and learn on their own.

Placement Experience :

Upon the completion of their respective course, a student can expect a good job offer through campus placements. It is always great to have these opportunities at one's college and therefore, I appreciate it a lot.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

To pursue M.A. (English) it costs ?7,170 for the complete two year, full time, on-campus course at Bastar University, Bastar. The fee structure is indeed affordable for every student and in my opinion, it is value for money.

Campus Life :

To make the students have a worthwhile college life, several extracurricular activities are organised by the college. These activities include cultural evenings, seminars, visits, trips and various other fun and light activities.

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network of the college is strong and very active. It is overwhelming to see students of so many batches to come together on alumni meets and other events to share their experiences with us.

Admission :

I am currently pursuing M.A. (English) from Bastar University, Bastar. The admission procedure at this college is pretty easy and it is completely based on the merit of a student. It still feels surreal as I'm pursuing my dream.

Faculty :

The teaching staff of the college is commendable as they are immensely talented and along with that they have contributed significantly towards the field of education. They are smart, kind and really helpful.

Placement Experience:

My college placement is average. like if students has a good percentage or a good cgpa with a good skills can get a higher package. The highest package gone through about 48lakh by the student of BTech. Mainly percentage dosent matter what matters is of a good skill and a good conversation. One with a good skill and conversation can get a good placement from my college. My plans after getting degree is persuing masters in computer application and I also want to get more skills so that I can get a good job like work from home also.

Placement Experience:

The placement committee of the colleges works very hard for you to identify the best companies according to the student interest level. IBM, Wipro, TATA Steel, Capgemini were a few of the companies that visited our campus during the placement drive. Total 90 companies visited our campus during the placement drive and the highest package was 19 LPA and the lowest was 9.50 LPA.

Admission:

The college offers admission to the students on the basis of marks obtained in class 12th examination . A merit list is prepared on the basis of which students are alotted their subjects and courses . Students need to fill an online application form from the college website . I remember my admission went very smooth and the staff was very helpful.

Placement Experience:

I can not explain this question's answer because I have not experienced this at all. I only listen about it a little bit. The placement opportunity is good if you have that qualifications and quality. The companies that gives you job opportunities are very less as compared to any professional course but still our students gets placed in some companies .

Admission:

there are 3 rounds. in the first round you have to fill up an application form which is available in the college website.you have to fill up all the required details in this form after submitting a form an telephonic interview is conducted by the admission manager of the college this a very important round if u want to get into the next round then comes round 2,again you will be giving interview to the faculty members and your entrance exam scores in the round 2 are taken into consideration. AT, ACT, LSAT-India Examination are the entrance exams which one is expected to give .however if u havent given any of these the college is having its own entrance exam which is JSAT.The qualifying score for the exam is 55%.there is not much happening in round 3,however you will receive a provisional offer of admission.

Placement Experience:

the job opportunities are quite great over here .we had several elite media houses coming in such as zee news, aaj tak, carrot films, the exposure which we got while working with these companies where tremendous.working with them just boosted our confidence to some other level.

Remarks:

What I personally think is that. Not only my college but all the colleges in the India should concentrate on the practical knowledge rather than theory Bczz practical knowledge is that knowledge which is going help us to implement the things which we are studying and I think the College hours should be reduce to 4 hours as it is hard to sit for long 7 hours which is unbearable. And the procedure of clearing our no dues should be made easier and less hectic for the students.
