Law Review of ILI

Remarks :

My institute is one of the prestigious institutes. Also the Indian Law Institute Library which was established in 1956 is one of the leading law libraries located in Asia. With a highly qualified and helpful faculty, outstanding infrastructure and very well researched course curriculum, ILI is deserving of being rated as one od the best universities for LAW studies.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum has slightly compact syllabus. ILI majorly focuses on research skills and improves the student's research knowledge by helping it grow and making them efficient. The exam structure is subjective in nature with multiple research based assignments for each subject. Each subject is allotted 100 marks that include two internals and a final along with a mandatory assignment each.

Placement Experience :

The university doesn't have a placement hub or neither an internship provision. However the faculty helps you and recommends good places to work at and the institute develops you so well that every employer would love to engage you as interns.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee Fee structure is approx. 1.2 lakh per year which is reasonable given the educational standards of the institution and it is a governmental organisation. The fee structure is not very expensive in nature because the level of education is comes at a price.

Campus Life :

ILI hosts plenty of seminars, workshops, etc in various disciplines and to keep the students mentally active. Every Wednesday, there is a seminar for students conducted by students themselves with minimal faculty participation to enhance their skills.

Admission :

The admission process here at ILI is quite a strict and long process. I had to submit my LLB degree informations and had to appear for the ILICAT exams before going on to the interview process. With the entrance exams cleared, the interview went well, thus, I was granted my admission here.

Faculty :

The faculty members are highly qualified with professional degrees of PHD with NET qualified. They are all devised their own curriculum and teaching methods based on their strengths and no random subjects are allotted without consideration. They are very helpful at all times and also active in student activities.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements during the final semester of M.Sc Electronics. Companies that visit Jamia are Airtel, TCS, Hitachi, Wipro, AT&T, and Samsung. All students were 100% placed in these big companies. Some who do internships in other companies were offered Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs). The highest package offered was around 5 lakhs and the average offered was around 1 lakh. I did get placed in Reliance Jio, however, I wished to study further, therefore I did a few months of work in the company and then dropped to pursue MBA.
