Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum The course was designed to make students aware of the issues surrounding the society and to inculcate the analytical abilities in the students so that a better understanding of the ethical values can be developed. The course gave the overview of various branches of economics. We were taught the fundamentals of economics and mathematics during our first semester. During my course, I was taught various disciplines of economics like international economics, public economics, development economics, econometrics, Indian economy, regional economics, money and financial markets, agricultural economics, environmental economics and financial economics. Nearly 85% students are placed every year through campus placements. The maximum package is INR 18 LPA while the average package is INR 6 LPA. Some of the top recruiters from our batch are American Express, EY, HT Media, Jabong, LIC, Amazon, Nestle, Jaypee group, Bajaj alliance and Genpact. I was paid the stipend of INR 10,000.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure The annual fee was INR 30,833 which I found to be nominal as compared to other private universities. This fee included the tuition fee, professional development fee, examination fee and sports and amenities fee. I have always paid the fee on time through the net banking.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Scholarships The scholarships are linked with the government. The UP government provides scholarships to the weaker sections of the society that enables them to pursue the courses at the university. The batch topper every year gets scholarship worth of INR 25,000. These scholarships are a great source of financing the education of underprivileged students.
Campus Life :
Campus life The university organizes annual techno cultural festival every year. It is an array of events where students show their technical talents in robotics, coding, B-plan competition, programing and talk shows. Some cultural events are also held like ramp walks, fashion quizzes that is a blend of fun and learning. There are various events organized in the campus like inter college basketball tournament for both boys and girls where different colleges participate. Some of the clubs are literary club, performing arts, technical hub and visual arts. I joined the performing arts club in the first year because I was deeply interested in acting and wanted to improve my acting skills. I performed at various colleges as a part of this club that helped me in making friends from other colleges as well. The JU Youth Club is formed by the students to give the platform to the students that will nurture their talents. I am currently the part of their literary wing and manages all the literary activities in the campus. I also draft articles for their annual magazines.

My name appeared in the second merit list as the first list was closed at 95% marks. The selection procedure required the interview which took place at the campus followed by the documents verification. Finally I submitted my fees to confirm my admission.
