This diploma course lasts for 1.5 years and covers cooking techniques, Larder, communication skills, hospitality and costing. This is an amazing diploma course which teaches you everything that you must know about cooking and hospitality to serve in that field. There is a direct admission policy for the diploma course.
Placement Experience :
The best part about this course is that it provides you with a six months internship which is included in the 1.5-year program. I am interning in ITC Gardenia, Bangalore, the stipend being 15,000 per month. Although the job opportunity is good, it is important to have good internships background to have a good job.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Total fees for this 18 months program is approximately 35,000 INR in total. I find it quite affordable as the college provides us with a lot of opportunity as well as learning and is a brand in itself.
Campus Life :
The college follows the principle of unity in diversity, people from different part of the country come and indulge in annual functions of the college, enjoying the festivities. The college is very clean and hygienic, it is the top priority of this college that keeps it above many other colleges.
Admission :
After pursuing my bachelors in Tourism and Management, I wanted to learn about Food production and Hospitality, since I had already completed my bachelors, I opted for this short term course. The admission process for the diploma is quite different from that of B.Sc, the college has a direct admission policy for candidates who apply for this course, however, the college looks at your academic qualification and background.
Faculty :
I have just spent a year in this college and I feel like the instructors and the professors are the pillars of this glorious building. The on-time service for help not only grooms us but also teaches us how to behave when we are in a position to manage things.
