Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very detailed but also useful. There are six semesters in total. We have exams at the end as well as in the middle of every semester. Viva is held along with the midsemester exam.

Our college does not hold placement cells. But they inform us about the reputed firms and companies that we could apply to. The alumni association is also of great help in getting placed. They will ensure you get the right kind of guidance. We are also encouraged to take up internship in organizations like Police commissionerate, Forensic lab,Session court,Railway claim Tribunal, Nalco, Income tax department,and many more

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is quite affordable. It amounts to just 2549 per year. It includes fees for all the facilities offered and no extra fee is incurred. I fount it quite feasible and students of all economic levels are able to study because of this feasible amount.

Campus Life

Lexcellence annual function is the major event held at our college. Other than that there are competitions, debates and trial advocacy camps that happen all the year round. We also get to attend lectures by eminent professionals at the college.

Admission

It is one of the most famous law colleges in Orissa which was established in 1975. The admission process is offline. We have to attempt the entrance exam conducted by the university. The score in the entrance exam along with the marks obtained in graduation will be considered for admission.

Faculty

Our faculty comprises of a set of well qualified bunch of teachers. They were extremely helpful and supportive. The teachers who were also practicing lawyers helped us in honing our advocacy skills and provided us with invaluable guidance. They also guided us on how to go about learning the subject which I found very useful.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

An Honest Review of My college Experience

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited to our college like Tata,Wipro, TCS, Infosys and Accenture etc . Our highest package in computer science is 1200000 per annum and Average package is 500000 per annum. Percentage of students getting placement is actually varies by year and course and average 40 to 50% students get the placement offers . My plan is qualifying gate with a good rank and do my higher study mtech.
