Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is simple and strives towards excellence. The duration is 4 years and exams are conducted on semester basis. These exams are focused towards learning, more than just marks. This is the reason I find this college one of the best ones for engineering.

Placement Experience :

For training and placement, the college has an auditorium and hall for seminars. When one year is about to end, our college starts multiple training programs for the students to find their interest and gain respectable knowledge about the same. Every year, placement process is started for the final-year students.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is Rs.40,000/- per year which is nominal as compared to other engineering colleges. The way the classes and seminars are conducted, this fees is not at all bad. I was not one of them, but in case a student gets more than the cut-off marks, he/she is eligible for 50% fees concession.

Campus Life :

We have a CAD / CAM lab, specially designed for the mechanical engineering students. It has all the necessary accessories required. There are a lot of industrial visits for on-field training sessions. Every year National Level Technical Symposium is conducted.

Admission :

I took admission under the government quota. I applied for the The Secretary, Engineering Admissions, Anna University, Chennai ? 25. The merit list came out and I was called up for a counselling session. Then I was placed in this college.

Faculty :

The faculty is experienced and smart. They know how to tackle the problems of every student and how to teach them the concepts. Engineering sounds hard but when the teachers are helpful and understanding, it becomes easy.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. The Highest package is 9LPA. The percentage of college placement is 78 percent. I planned to make higher studies after my degree.

Be detailed, specific and honest

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are not as good as you expect from a B-School. The highest salary package offered to be 20 LPA, and most of us are to console with a salary package ranging from 6 to 7 LPA. However, almost 95% of the students got placed, but it was noticed that some of them got salary packages ranging from 4 to 5 LPA, and even some got lower than that.

Remarks:

Super food, environment is super even compared with higher education.

Admission:

I got admission in this college through counseling which is the regular annual engineering counseling conducted by the anna university which is the common organization for all engineering organizations among the state. The counseling is purely based upon the cutoff marks scored by the students. I got admission in 07. 07. 2016. I chose this college because of the suggestion given by the neighbors. On before that, i've chosen engineering because i didn't got enough score for medical course.
