About our college,Its a green campus with advanced laboratories and good placement activities,I prefer our college than other autonomous colleges

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose civil engineering in this college among other colleges because our college teaches us both practically and theoretically and about our department and as well as college faculty student ratio is 1:14 and most of the faculty member holds PH.d, three internal tests will be there on each semesters.

Class Size : 800Course Fees : INR 78000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

On our final year we will get internship with stipend and students can do any projects laboratories will be open for 24*7 faculty will support and guided us over our projects.

Placement Experience :

From Sixth semester our placements will get started students can avail offers in both core and non core sectors with good packages on MNCs training over our placements starts from first year onwards

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As per the government norms the fees structure will there for tuition fee and hostel and about scholarships our college runs a trust named KPR charities which gives a good scholarship for students around 1.2 crores the spend for students scholarship for every year and all other government scholarships will also be available

Campus Life :

Nice infrastructure and facilities with indoor sports complex and Digital library ,25+ plus active clubs managed by students

Hostel Facilities :

Separate hostel and mess for boys and girls with good and hygienic food and clean atmosphere with more facilities

Hostel Fee : INR 70000 per year

Average college but a good place to study on your own

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
