Course Curriculum Overview :

It is a five year course divided into ten semesters. The course provides a blend of practical & theoretical knowledge to get experience in the art of planning, constructing and designing of structures. The subjects that we study are applied climatology & mathematics, architectural design and housing, interior architecture and space programming, RCC structures, buildings, architectural design thesis and many more. From idealizing and mapping to construction of the buildings, the student is transformed into a qualified architect.

Placement Experience :

The jobs profiles that were offered to students were project manager, design manager, urban planner, project architect, senior principal architect, landscape designer etc. The highest package of 18.5 lpa were grabbed by my batch mate for the post of principal architect by Arcop. the companies which regularly came to our college were Gaursons India, Architect hafeez contractor, RSP architect contractor, Somya & Kalappa consultants, C P Kukreja Associates and many more. Good summer internship packages were also provided by the college but most of them were unpaid in nature.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The tuition fees for one year is 30,000 and the grand total for five years is 1.5 L which I consider is quite feasible and affordable. The hostel fees is around 10,000 for a year and the mess food charges is decided on the basis of veg/non-veg menu.

Campus Life :

Annual clay modelling workshop and building automation is held every week. Conferences on topics such as binomic architecture, lightning design, audio-visual presentation, transportation and sustainable development is also conducted by the college council. A photography exhibition is also held were the students can show case their skills. Sahaja yoga workshop is also held for yoga enthusiasts. Educational tours are also organised by the college. Sports activities are also held in our college to encourage more participation.

Hostel Facilities :

Adequate accommodation is made available for both the girls and boys. The boys hostel named as "Corbu House" can accommodate up-to 100 students. The mess and canteen food is quite delicious and healthy. The college library has a wide collection of books related to any subject and can accommodate 80 students at one go.A centralized air conditional library with e-journals.We also have a assembly hall with all the modern facilities which can fill up to 200 students and is frequently used for workshops, conferences, presentations and student seminars.

Admission :

The student must have secured at least 50% marks in class 12th with Mathematics as the main and compulsory subject. Moreover you need to give JEE main/AAT and the merit list will be prepared on the combined marks. Seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC and wards of freedom fighters, military personnel, sports person and wards of Kargil martyrs.Fill the form online and pay the fees which is to be deposited through SBI challan. You will be called for a counselling session if your name appears on the merit list and granted admission.

Faculty :

The teachers are friendly in nature. They support the students in any need if they are facing problem in any of their subject. All the teachers have 10+ teaching experience in their respective fields. Guest lectures are also taken up so that the students get more knowledge about designing and construction of the structures. Overall I would say the teachers are really helpful and supportive.

Placement Experience:

MBA students have 2 internships, one being chemical core internship, which is done after 3 year for 2 months which is not shifted to last semester of 4th year for 6 months. Apart from this, there is a 2 month internship for MBA part. Earlier it was 2 months but now it is, also 6 months in the last semester. MBA students gets their internships done, both paid and unpaid included. But for placements, that story is not so good.

Placement Experience:

The placements are just average. Companies come everyday or everyweek. Placement drive keeps running all time. Packages above 10 LPA have very very high competition. Courses have everything to crack a good package off campus. But students aren't studious they don't know anything they just blame the university
