Remarks :

This college is undoubtedly one of the best dental colleges present in Tamil Nadu. They are not only a teaching facility but also a hospital and therefore, they have a really great opportunity to present to the students because of the high patient flow. It is a great place to study.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum for the BDS program is really good. The faculty is renowned and some have even studied techniques and skills at Edinburgh, UK. This is good because, from their experience, they can show us past and present techniques very well. There is a very large focus on research, the college claims that students will have up to 10 research publications.

Placement Experience :

Placements are present, and a job is guaranteed to all BDS graduates as per the college guidelines. They have also stated that even the starting salary of the graduates from Saveetha college is twice as much as other students receive. There is also a compulsory internship for which students will get 1.6 lakh rupees.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees seem expensive. However, as they have detailed in their course curriculum and other details. They teach expensive techniques and detail a lot of skills to the students. They might be paying a lot more in the future for the same training outside of the college. The fee structure for the BDS course is 8,00,00 lakh rupees per year.

Campus Life :

The extracurricular activities are pretty numerous. They have really good lab facilities available for the students to use. There are a lot more female students, but there is no inequality in terms of gender.

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network is really large and super helpful. Most seniors and graduates stay in touch and they are really helpful with jobs and placement opportunities. Not to mention, they are also very friendly.

Admission :

My entry into the college was based upon the centralized counseling that the DGHS gives. This is dependent on the NEET scores obtained by you. If you are selected, you will also have to fill some forms for a final round of counseling.

Faculty :

Faculty is simply amazing. There is a 1:2 ratio for the teachers to students, which is wonderful for student-enhanced learning. The infrastructure in place in this college is very spectacular. Plus, advanced training and special skills are available within the tuition.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. The Highest package is 9LPA. The percentage of college placement is 78 percent. I planned to make higher studies after my degree.

Be detailed, specific and honest

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are not as good as you expect from a B-School. The highest salary package offered to be 20 LPA, and most of us are to console with a salary package ranging from 6 to 7 LPA. However, almost 95% of the students got placed, but it was noticed that some of them got salary packages ranging from 4 to 5 LPA, and even some got lower than that.

Super food, environment is super even compared with higher education.

Admission:

I got admission in this college through counseling which is the regular annual engineering counseling conducted by the anna university which is the common organization for all engineering organizations among the state. The counseling is purely based upon the cutoff marks scored by the students. I got admission in 07. 07. 2016. I chose this college because of the suggestion given by the neighbors. On before that, i've chosen engineering because i didn't got enough score for medical course.
