Remarks :

Focus on bringing more courses would be good. Conducting more inner college events will make university more famous on other part of the country.

Entrance Preview :

I wrote BSAUEE. Curiosity to know more about computer science is the reason to choose the course. We had a Written test followed by oral interview.

Internships Opportunities :

I was lucky one to get internship offer in my final year. It was all because of the efforts from my HOD. company cashed Hibrise technology pvt Ltd came and offered me for internship program. They paid 5000 RS/ month. It was 3 month program.

Placement Experience :

My university had good placement cell. They have signed up MoUs with various companies. So it was easy to get job through campus placement cell.

College Events :

Orion is our annual college day, which we celebrate every year. Every year our department conduct symposium, which is inter college event. Farewell and freshers day which we don't miss. We also celebrated or college day silver jublie celebration.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes, If you are a outstanding student, yes you can get scholarship. Otherwise Even college arranged for student loan.

Campus Life :

I can say, Up to the mark. College focus on all the facility what exactly student is required. Biggest thing I never saw someone ragging anyone. No biased life. Management is focus on workshop for all the department.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni network is always active. Conducting different events and conducting various kind of online survey. They user online resources to keep alumna updated about the university.

Faculty :

Best in guiding. Best in helping. They were technically qualified and mind full of knowledge. The best thing which is common in all the professors are motivating and focusing on soft skills and sometimes extra curricular activities.

TRUTH of MCA in VIT

Placement Experience:

1. For my course MCA, studnets become eligible form 2nd year onwards for internship and from july they become eligible for full time placements 2. total 26 companies came, but only 5-6 of them genuinely turned up for online assessments or interview. Rest of them either they preffered MTECH students or did not even turned up 3. Highest package offered was PhonePay with 34 Lakhs/yr, lowest was 4 lakh per/yr which was Pravyuha Private solutions limited. 4. 5% only as of now placed 5. To get placed in a good IT Company

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester the students will be placed in campus drive. The college placement team gets a lot of company placements. The companies are TCS, Infosys and so on. The average package is 4.5LPA and the highest package is 7-10LPA in our college placements.

NITT MCA

Placement Experience:

For MCA , the internship season starts in the beginning of second year , many famous companies like Uber, GS, Visa ,KLA visit our college . The highest package in MCA placement is 52 LPA and median is 10 LPA. Many students get PPO from the summer internship. The placement percentage for the year 2024 is not that good , but NITT MCA holds a good record of top placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The carricullum for our course was changed few years back and it is focused on both learning and placement perspective and it provides real time experience as well. The exams are done regularly in for of 2 cycle test within a semester and at the end of semester we have end sem exam.

Admission:

The candidates need to fill an registration form for applying for the UG and the PG coursed offered in the college with the registration fee.The demand draft should be paid to the Alagappa University Karaikudi. The fee would be reasonable for the application. It has its own entrance exams for all the integrated and post graduate coursed with the personal interview and the group discussion. The final selection of the candidates is done on the basis of the performance in group discussion and personal interview. Based on the merit the under graduate and the post graduate admissions are done.
