Course Curriculum Overview :
The course was really good and I took all the information about farming and technology involved. And now my aim is to become successful farmer. And my intrest is in IFS and winery. Course is about farming, cultivation, processing. So we can set up our own startups and to be a good entrepreneur.
Placement Experience :
58 students passed the course. The highest salary offered in our batch is 25000 immediately after completing the course. No campus selection is done.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fees for the 3 year program in the domain of horticulture is around 1 lakh rupees. Each year around 35,000 rupees is to be submitted at the start of the new academic year which includes tuition fee, library fee, miscellaneous charges etc.
Campus Life :
Classrooms are advanced with almost all the facilities available. Library is good. Wi-Fi is not available inside college. Labs are good as compared to other colleges. Hostel facility is also there. Since our university is horticulture based University most of the extra-curricular activities are related to plantation, gardening and plant based research etc. Events like Totagarike Mela, Republic Day, Independence Day, etc are organised by the University. In terms of the infrastructure University is is equipped with all the necessities that are required to be there in University offering courses in the domain of horticulture and allied sciences.
Admission :
Yeah all are very helpful especially seniors who taught us good lesson by scolding and little of ragging. All seniors used to give notes and they were already there to solve our doubts related to exam and study.
Faculty :
Highly knowledgeable faculty. Almost all faculty members are Ph.D. holders. They teach more practical things than theory. It is very helpful to do job in private companies and to work in our own field. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industry ready.
