Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is designed to help us understand the details, the etiquette and the requirements of the field. With visits and internships incorporated, the course leaves students ready for future jobs.

Placement Experience :

Some of the top hotels recruit from Munnar Catering College. Some of these are Vasundhara Sarovar Premiere Vayalar, Uday Samudra Kovalam, Trident Gurgaon, The Oberoi Mumbai, Tea County Munnar, Taj Gateway Cochin, Sterling Thekkady, Radisson Blu Chennai and Leela Palace Delhi. Internships being an important part of the curriculum, are provided so that the students can gain real-world experience.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The course fee is 75000 per academic year for the three year diploma, and additionally, 96,000 per academic year for hostel fees. It is overall very much affordable and feasible for a majority of prospective students.

Campus Life :

Sports such as badminton, basketball and volleybal are played inside the campus. Yoga, meditation and martial arts are also popular amongst the students. The atmosphere of the campus is very nice, being located in the beaitiful Munnar. There is no ragging on the campus due to strict restrictions. There is a green energy team and an Oxford English Club for more activities.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are compulsory as it is a 100% residential campus. The hostel facilities are good. Mess, canteen, wi-fi facilities are all available, and there are a lot of activities to do insid ethe campus, from sports to meditation.

Alumni/Alumna :

Relationship with the seniors is very good. Every new student is mentored and supported by two senior students and a faculty member as part of the buddy program. This builds a healthy relationship with the senior, which continues throughout.

Admission :

Selection for the diploma course is solely on the basis of 10+2 marks. Application can be made either online or physically. I wanted to study Hotel management and I chose MCC because of its great reputation.

Faculty :

The faculty members are understanding and helpful. They guide us through the details of the course, watching over us as we hone our skills and prepare. Their experience rubs off on us, and their words have been helpful in navigating the real world.

The students become eligible for the campus placements in the 6th semester. The average students getting placed in the mechanical department are about 30%. My plan after completing my mechanical engineering degree is to go for masters in business administration

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum contains a vast area of nursing aspects and they include OSKI as a new component of the nursing curriculum which prepares as well enough to face the job interviews ahead. But the time limit is so short that we find it difficult to complete the syllabus on time. As the syallabus has changed to semester system we are expected to write exams more frequently but that is good as it helps as to improve our writing skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Architecture is a tough and time taking course, the syllabus fine in the first three years but later on it becomes hectic. Maybe the syllabus can be reduced and I feel that five years is too long for architecture degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course mainly because of the job opportunities. There is plenty of teaching and non-teaching staff in the college. All the teaching staff has Mastered nursing and all are very talented teachers. The teaching method is lecturing and av aids are also used by the teachers like projectors. The exams are conducted after the completion of each unit. It's an average tough exam to score good marks. The only problem is that exams will be conducted daily and the personal behavior of some staff may vary from person to person.

No campus placement is provided by college because it is a government college. After getting degree I planned to practice in Kerala high court and also wants to attempt judicial service examination. I also planned to join LLM at central University or in Canada. In Canada there are many opportunities for LLB graduates.
